This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and we are amazed at how great the food is! It’s definitely not your normal(boring) every day food. This is all made, cook to order, with love, and a lot of knowledge. These people are amazing too! Great service, great food and drinks, along with a beautiful setting, this can not and will not be beat. We will make the one hour drive from Farmersville to have more food from here. They never sacrifice quality for speed.

Keep up the amazing work, and see you all again soon.

Soooo good! The crispy tornado is worth the drive! The fried pimento balls are second to none. Such a delightful dinner!

This quaint Pub sits on the lower floor of the historic Beckham hotel in Mineola, Texas. Over 125 years old, this building offers an abundance of history. From the railroad workers to cattle drivers, the early hotel days paint a picture of the steadily growing town of Mineola. The Grand Ballroom on the second floor with crystal chandeliers hosted weddings and events. In the mid-1920s of Fire destroyed much of the hotel but it has since been rebuilt and restored. There’s a daunting hunting history to this hotel as well, claiming to have four Spirits residing. A 10 year old possibly left out in the cold can sometimes be seen peering in the window, a gambler whose luck ran out, a woman left heartbroken at the altar oh, and a man who met his fate in the alley behind the hotel for a $50 car debt. Today you can rent the ballroom for events, meet friends on the extensive patio for drinks, and soon the rooms upstairs will be available for accommodation.

I did not eat, next time. My first visit, and this place is fantastic. Great Old Fashion and a nice smoke room.

We came to the restaurant for our 35th anniversary we ordered steak and roast. My steak came out very raw on top of a massive amount of mashed potatoes. The steak was bleeding on the mashed potatoes. Most chefs would never serve food like that. My husbands roast and potatoes was cold. When you come into a restaurant and pay 5 star prices you expect the highest quality food and service. They corrected the meal and stated the thermometer was not working correctly. Appropriate etiquette would have been to offer a free glass of wine or dessert but nothing was offered. We love the Atmosphere of bar and hotel but we will not return to restaurant.

I am not normally one who leaves a bad review but it was so bad I feel that I have to. The food was on the verge of uneatable. The staff was friendly but the food was just bad. My shrimp I believe were frozen and just warmed up in the microwave, my wife’s roast was terrible at best. Our cocktails were good though.

If you don’t order the bacon candy then you are missing out on an amazing experience. The ambience and staff make this place unforgettable. One of my favorite places to visit and eat at in East Texas.

This place is a hidden gem which won’t stay hidden much longer! The menu is full of unique and delicious drinks which match the vibe of the place. I always enjoy taking my drink out onto the heated patio and sitting under the twinkly lights. I highly recommend the IronHorse!

The owners are very personable, service is excellent. This is such a beautiful hotel, bar, smoking facility, ladies’ tea room, and patio. We enjoy just visiting with owners and clientele.
