Set-up in what appears to have once been a cabin. Decor is a hodgepodge of tables, chairs, and wall decor which gives you plenty to look at while you’re waiting for your order. Indoor seating is slightly limited which is not a problem off-season. During peak season, there is a very large outdoor seating area to accommodate as necessary.
You order at the counter and they provide you with a pager that let’s you know when your order is ready and you pick-up at the counter.
Broad selection of coffee drinks including lattes, cappuccinos, etc.
Waffles can be made to order or a several preconfigured selections are also listed. I had the “skinny” which includes fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola. It was huge and very filling. The waffle itself was a bit doughy but I loved it that way as it was like eating a hot cookie straight out of the oven.

I had a chai tea latte, which was very good – a simple classic flavor. I’m not much of a coffee person, but I really liked the sip I had of my partner’s. It’s clear they don’t completely burn the beans here, and the flavor was leaps and bounds above a chain coffee joint. We also got some waffles. She got The Bear, which had nutella and peanut butter. Sweet and nutty, very decadent. I had The Benedict, which was also nice. I think the hollandaise was a little less lemon-y and more savory than tangy, the flavor and the texture was a bit more like a light gravy. Still very tasty, wouldn’t say no to another one of those. A great spot for a nice breakfast or brunch.

I’m not even sure how to start.
The atmosphere is adorable and very well furnished. The employees are super polite and sweet, and I really appreciate their competence. It’s not something you come across often nowadays, so they deserve a round of applause.
On the other hand, the food was abysmal. I was shocked at how quickly our food was served, turns out it’s just because the waffles were ridiculously undercooked. We were basically eating dough. The food was like rapunzel, but instead of letting its hair down, it let down every customer who walked through the door.
I lost one of my nine lives here.

Absolutely love this place. It will be a stop on every visit to Nisswa. The atmosphere is unique and inviting, the breakfast sandwiches are flavorful and delicious, and the dessert waffles are a sight to see. We had the banana cream one, and it was excellent.

Food was great price was on point. Quite a wait for our food however. Staff was kind, mostly teens working there, but they seemed like a well oiled unit.
Gluten free waffles available on request and they checked to make sure the caramel sauce was gluten free as well.
Good stuff. As a celiac I approve.

Charming breakfast/coffee spot with plenty of outdoor seating under the pines just off the lake. The menu offers a wide variety with pretty much everything, as expected, on a waffle. Take this into consideration when making your selection as a sweet waffle doesn’t necessarily pair well with everything. Service was superb. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Wow! This is a hoppin’ place. But don’t fret…they move people through and serve you in a timely manner. The Waffles were a great treat on a sunny Saturday

It’s a beautiful little log house style cabin with only a handful of tables and feels really rustic. Staff was friendly and it was a cozy homey feel. Ordered the waffle ham and cheese sandwich and it was awesome. I would highly recommend stopping by and enjoying some delicious waffles.
