Dating back to as far as the 1950’s the Iron Gate is one of the Peninsula’s oldest fine dining establishments. Housing restaurants such as Bondy’s in the fifties and Ed’s Chucks Wagon in the sixties the last twenty-six years Dimitrios and Kaveh have raised the bar of excellence with fine French Continental Cuisine.

This is one of the rare occasions I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Not just a good meal but a truly fabulous dining experience. The table service was phenomenal, both from the level of professionalism and personality along with a high level of attentiveness. Of course the food was sensational. It was fine cuisine presented well but also in satisfying amounts (not 3 peas around 1 slice). I can’t say enough about the deliciousness combined with top-tier service and ambience. A ‘must experience’ at least once in a lifetime!

From the moment you step into Iron Gate, it’s like a throwback to simpler, more traditional times. Help yourself to rich, delicious American fare, and great desserts! Went to Iron Gate for the first time to celebrate my mom’s birthday. The restaurant was beautiful from the inside and out. We were greeted by the friendly staff and were helped immediately. They have a fantastic selection of food and drinks, and also they had a bunch of specials that night. I ordered the black pepper steak, and it was so delicious. The owner cooks the meal in front of you and will put on a fire show. I will definitely be coming back here!
