I’ve had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful place twice. The first time was with my boyfriend—we enjoyed great service, a few drinks, and live music. Absolute heaven. The second visit was with my class reunion group, and the staff was just as accommodating. Strong drinks, great food, and excellent service. I can’t wait to come back!

We love it here. We have ordered something different each time we have come and have never been disappointed. Tonight we tried the street corn ribs and chicken curry. Yum!!

My wife and I stopped here on the early evening of June 20, 2025 while exploring “downtown” Lake Worth along its main drag (Lake Avenue). We’d had eaten a late lunch that afternoon and had also just eaten an appetizer at the sports bar directly across the street (Dave’s Last Resort and Raw Bar), so we didn’t try the food here at the Irish Brigade. We did look at the menu and it appeared to have some authentic British and Irish food offerings. I had a Smithwick’s Irish Red Ale (on draft) and my wife had Mich Ultra. This place is very nice inside and also very clean (well kept and new looking). The bar central bar has about 15-20 seats, and on the east side of it is a quiet area dining room area that looks to hold about 30-40 people in tables and booths and it has a nice “Quiet Pub” decor. There are also about 4 or 5 tables outside along the sidewalk. In the front corner of the pub there’s a small area for live music performers to set up their equipment, and back behind the bar is a large and long room that has lots of dart boards in it. It wasn’t very crowded during the early evening hour that we visited here, but it looked like it might get that way on weekends, or during the busy snowbird season (Nov – Apr). There is a small free parking lot just behind and across K Street from this pub that holds about 20-30 cars, and it’s open until 2 AM. We arrived at that parking lot about 4:30 pm, and it was nearly full, so you might have to find an on-street parking space if you get here after 5:00 pm and the free parking lot is already full.

The food here is delicious and comes out fast. The Ruben egg rolls were my favorite. Also had some of their wings. Definitely worth the visit. Drinks were good as well. And we loved our server he greeted us at the door and was very prompt. We will be back.

The Irish Brigade in Lake Worth is a solid go-to spot with strong drinks, good food, and a welcoming neighborhood vibe. I always recommend getting there early for happy hour—it gets packed quickly, and you’ll want to take advantage of the happy hour deals before the crowd rolls in.

Their Old Fashioned is surprisingly well-crafted for a casual pub—smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet, with just the right kick. If you’re into Bloody Marys, theirs is bold and savory with a nice spicy edge, plus it comes loaded with garnishes that make it feel like a meal on its own.

As for food, I’m obsessed with their chicken fingers. They’re perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and served with a honey mustard that’s seriously addictive. The menu has a good mix of comfort bar food, but that combo is my top pick.

Whether you’re grabbing a drink after work or looking for a chill weekend hangout, The Irish Brigade hits the mark every time.

Came by on St. Patrick’s Day, around dinner time. Was busy inside and outside, which was to be expected . Our party was able to share a table with some others. One person got the Fish and Chips($20)nice looking piece of fish, and the fries were tasty. I got the Corned Beef Dinner ($20) and most of it was pretty good. The Corned Beef was sliced thin like lunch meat, which was kind of odd. Potatoes were not boiled, but looked to be backed or air fried. Cabbage with sauce was excellent. Service was spotty, but with it being a big bar holiday, it was understandable. Great atmosphere and people watching outside on the sidewalk.

I ordered the Connemara chicken sandwich, and the portion size was honestly shocking. The chicken in the brioche bun was barely visible.. essentially a tiny sliced chicken tender lost in bread, topped with a few slices of American bacon (despite the online menu indicating Irish bacon). The plate was piled high with fries, which made it look substantial, but the actual protein portion was extremely skimpy, leaving me hungry after leaving.

This is Florida, and it’s an Irish pub, not Manhattan. Charging NYC prices for what feels like a kids’ meal portion just doesn’t add up. Once you factor in the service charge and a couple of drinks, you’re close to $50 for pub food that isn’t filling and doesn’t feel worth it.

The atmosphere is great, and the food itself wasn’t terrible, but the value is completely off. Portions need to match the price. It’s a shame to see places squeeze out clientele like this, but it seems to be happening across the board these days. A reminder to myself to stop going out for dinner in the current economy.

We ALWAYS have the best food, drinks and great times here! This is our go to place! The servers, Joel, Chloe, Kaylee, Brian are the best there is! Joey makes the best Irish Espresso Martini I’ve ever had! The Smithwicks is always cold and delicious and the food is absolutely amazing! You can’t go wrong with the wings, the Brussels sprouts, the Shepherds pie, the Fish n Chips, the giant Pretzel ! Seriously everything is Delish!
Great food, great drinks, great bands!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The fish dip was good but we didn’t like the Reuben. It was pretty sour tasting. The prices were high for what you get. They had amateur live music when we went, that was fun.
