Hutchinson Island bar and Grill in Ocean Village will be opening sometime in December right now we are waiting for a new hot water heater to be installed.

Yup, you guessed it, visited The Inn at Ocean Village with my book club. We are called the Literary Divas by the way and we loved the atmosphere and the food here. Such a calming atmosphere, a great place to discuss a book and share time with friends. And the view! Spectacular. There’s a great wine list but also mixed drinks and a variety of beer’s are on the menu so no one will be disappointed. The food is really good. The rolls that come with your meal are like nothing I’ve experienced in a roll. It was this buttery citrusy soft puff of air. I had the soup and it was silky soft and perfect in taste and temperature. Also the hushpuppies. You just can’t eat one. One of the Diva’s owns a cottage at Ocean Village and that’s how we found out about this lovely spot but the restaurant is open to the public so plan your visit soon. Hope you found this helpful. The food here was amazing! So good that we went back the very next night. Everything from the appetizer to the entree was delicious. The scallops are to die for! You will not be disappointed. If you do visit, ask for Brad. He is an amazing server and took very good care of us. They also have live entertainment, which was a nice touch. Highly recommend this restaurant, and can’t wait to go back.

Went into the bar where I met the most charming and personable young man named Sam. It was a very pleasant experience. Tasty fish dip. Good selection of ipas on tap. Nice beach view! 5stars!

The food and atmosphere were the height of mediocrity, but the service was divine. Margaux was my server, and she redefined my experience of being waited on; I tried to hire her privately to serve my meals at my residence. She is warm and friendly and is the sole reason I shall be returning to this establishment.

We ate outside on a beautiful evening. I got ribeye steak and my daughter got shrimp tacos. Both dishes were superb. Our waitress was friendly if you are staying in Ocean Village it is a nice walk to the restaurant

visited here twice on our trip to Hutchinson Island. A more romantic setting with a great view of the ocean, and live music once it starts getting dark. If you don’t want any music, go closer to the 4-5pm window and they seem to not be set up for music yet. First visit I took a tip and tried the lobster mac and cheese as a main course. It tasted good, but I think at the price it was a little disappointingly small. Obviously it having lobster in it makes their food cost go up too, so I kind of leave the complaint alone some. If you’re a bigger appetite person, I would probably bypass it. On the other hand, the next trip I made, I went with their grilled mahi sandwich. I had a lot of good food on my trip, this was the best value for quality on the trip and had a strong case for being the best thing I ate the whole time. Was very impressed with the sandwich. The kids meals are huge, especially the fish fingers. The kids had twice as much food as I did on the night i had lobster mac. Generally speaking this is one of the best value restaurants I visited in the area, and in it’s value comes good quality.

How could this restaurant get good reviews? The wedge salad is a big hunk of iceberg lettuce with fake bacon bits and a dollop of dressing. Drinks are ok but not get. This is a hang out for the local gated community.

Great atmosphere! Very attentive and nice staff! The best live music I’ve heard in this area! If you’re sitting outside at least when it is cold, the music actually sent out over speakers so there is also the advantage of the staff being able to adjust the volume to customers liking.

Really couldn’t tell you how the food is because the service was so bad that we didnt get far enough in the visit to order. Was so very disappointed in how the staff treaded us as an afterthought when we arrived, which was about 7:45pm on a Tues night. We are staying at the Ocean Village condos and wanted a nice meal and drinks without having to leave. We were ignored by 4 different employees, once the waitress finally came over we asked politely could she wipe the table off, which she did with a sopping wet towel, then handed us the menus and walked away. We of course decided to leave because we felt the service was not going to improve from there. Ended up going to 2nd street bistro and they put this restaurant to shame…would recommend going to 2nd street bistro rather than here!!
