The Inn is one of those hole in the wall bar & grill’s, where the locals go. And they welcomed us outta towners and treated us great! The bar tender/server was great & hospitable. He even used his personal phone with the MLB app using a speaker and played the Cubs game for me!! The whole place didn’t care and we enjoyed good food, good service, with some mighty fine locals. You definitely should stop “INN”!!!!

This is such the iconic definition of awesome “hole in the wall.” Phenomenal food at phenomenal prices. I grew up in Indiana, obviously knowing that Mr Dave’s was the best pork tenderloin in the state, and holy cow was I SO wrong. I’ve never had even a mediocre meal at the inn. I agree with other reviewers that the service can be kind of hit or miss, but so is service anywhere else.

Out of towners there on a Saturday for a late lunch. Walked in the front door to find one customer at a table, 2 people at the bar (owner?), a waitress and cook. All whipped their heads around like “who are you?” No one said “hi” or “have a seat anywhere you’d like.” We placed our order to try the breaded tenderloin. It did seem to take a while but we weren’t in a hurry. The owner(?) did come over to tell us the cook had mistaken the tenderloin for chicken patties but it would be out soon, which we appreciated. Tenderloin was indeed good but doubt we will be back. Waitress did ask once in passing if we were doing okay. We had to go up to the bar to pay as no bill was ever brought and the waitress left without saying anything. Guess they prefer locals.
