Indian Masala House in Bridgetown is the best I’ve tried—far better than other places! The Butter Chicken was creamy, the Lamb Rogan Josh rich and flavorful, and the naan fresh and fluffy. Chicken Tikka sizzlers, Masala Dosa, and Samosas were all perfect.
The chefs deserve praise—every dish was delicious! Service was also excellent—friendly and attentive. If you’re craving real Indian flavors, this is the place to go! I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

If you’re a true biryani lover, this place is a must-visit! The aroma while you enter the restaurant hits you hard enough making us crave for the dish arrives to arrive. I placed an order for the Lamb Biryani which was rich, flavorful layers of perfectly cooked basmati rice, tender boneless meat, and a blend of authentic Indian spices that feel like a celebration in every bite. The balance of flavors is impeccable — not too spicy, yet full of depth and fragrance. The raita, pappad and the mango pickle served alongside complement it beautifully. The portion size is generous, and the presentation is elegant without being over the top. You can truly taste the passion and tradition in every spoonful. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving an unforgettable biryani experience!
This has definitely become my go-to spot whenever a chicken biryani craving hits!

A taste of India in a beautiful rural town, one of the oldest in our province. They have an amazing menu with lots of variety, including traditional favorites like buttered chicken, Naan bread, and samosas. If you want to experiment, this menu won’t disappoint, or you might try a variety platter. On my first visit, I chose the Delights Special Full Loaded Non-Veg Thali, a platter that includes samples of appetizer to dessert. In reality, the platter comes on two platters plus dessert and is very filling. You can try the platter from mild to hot. Your server will ask your preference! We also sampled the Gobi 65 as an appetizer; fried battered cauliflower with a chili sauce. The hint of curry was perfect! We went as a group, so there was a variety of dishes to sample, and nobody was disappointed. They offer non cultural favorites like fish and chips for dining guests who may not feel as adventurous. Parking may be a challenge if it’s a busy evening, but it is worth any extra little walk. The interior is decorated in authentic cultural tradition, and our servers were very thoughtful and helpful. If you have questions, they are happy to help. I look forward to going again! There is just so much to try!

We initially wanted to go elsewhere, but then stumbled across this little place.
It is mostly traditional and authentic Indian dishes. I had a chicken appetizer that was deep fried, and had a sweet Thai chili sauce with it. That was very good, then we also had a butter chicken dish and a rice and chicken dish as well. That was also very good. They are made with aromatic spices, that are very fresh. And whole spices at that. The whole spices is the only downside, if you can call it that. Just because of the bigger pieces of spice that are in the dishes. Like whole cloves and whole bay leaves. I had a mango Lassi and it was very delicious as well. We also had naan bread that was definitely home baked. It was not store-bought.
Overall a very authentic Indian experience. I highly recommend them, the spice level was okay as well. It was nice, not too hot. I did not even ask for mild or medium.

What a gem! I had heard good things about “The Indian Masala House”, and I was not disappointed. The menu is massive, so choosing what to order can take a while. I eventually ended up choosing the onion bhjai. The flavour was amazing and they were perfectly cooked. My main course was the lamb byrani. I was not disappointed. The lamb was perfectly cooked and plentiful. I had asked for spicy, and the amount of heat was just right.
The service was excellent. The server shared with me that both chefs are from India. We are so lucky to have this delightful restaurant in out little part of the Annapolis Valley. Highly recommended, if you are looking for authentic Indian food.

I recently visited here. I tried the veg biriyani, and my friends had the chicken biriyani – sorry to say, both lacked authentic Indian flavour; in fact, it’s not a biriyani. The service was underwhelming, and the prices felt high compared to other Indian restaurants I’ve visited. I hope they improve, as the place has potential.

Amazing service and phenomenal food! Portion size was great for price! They also went above and beyond to find me when I accidentally left my wallet 😀
