Visited Indian Host Restaurant during our Gold Coast trip with friends. We started with Chicken Lollipop, which could have been better, but the main courses truly made up for it. The naan breads were fresh, and the Paneer Lababdar and Chicken Banjara were full of rich, delicious flavours.
The Rabadi Gulab Jamun was the highlight of the meal, absolutely top-notch! The ambience was pleasant and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We had a nice overall experience.

Thought we would check out this Indian restaurant and it gave such homely vibes. The food was nicely seasoned and very good quality. Would recommend this place and the staff was attentive! But definitely pricey for the portion size of some of the entrees.

Today, we visited the Indian Host restaurant. The menu selection is fantastic, and the food was delicious and truly mouthwatering. The presentation was lovely, and the service was top-notch. The food offerings were quite distinct from those at typical Indian restaurants. I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for a must-try dining experience in Gold Coast.

NO STARS AT ALL BUT THAT WAS NOT AN OPTION.
Our experience was very disappointing. After doing muscle work the whole day, we were really looking forward to a good meal, but the food turned out to be quite poor. Initially, there was almost no spice in the dishes, and after asking Chef Ajay to make them a little hotter, both the butter chicken and dal makhni became extremely spicy. The butter chicken was also very sweet at first, even though we specifically asked for an Indian-style spicy flavour. Staff member Shubh tried to help, but the dishes still didn’t come out as requested. Overall, it was a letdown, and we hope the restaurant pays closer attention to customer spice preferences in the future.

Had an amazing experience at Indian Host Restaurant in Southport! The Manchurian starter was absolutely delicious — full of flavour and perfectly cooked. For the main course, we had Malai Kofta and Kadhai Paneer, both rich, creamy, and packed with authentic Indian taste. Finished off with some ice cream, which was the perfect sweet ending. Great food, great service — highly recommend this place!

Came here tonight to fill in some time while my daughter was at a dance class and the whole experience was perfect. I chose to sit outside to enjoy the nice breeze, but the indoor dining area was classy and cleaned immaculately. The food was well priced and absolutely delicious. The portion sizes look a bit average but it was so filling that I couldn’t finish it all. It was so good that I ended up ordering a takeaway meal too for my daughter and she was also impressed by the flavour. The lady serving me was very attentive and her customer service skills were a 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re wanting to go out for a nice meal!
