Reviews
Its probably the best Indian i’ve been to, certainly around the northwest. The restaurant is always spotless clean when i go in to collect, and the staff are just so professional, curteous and warm.
It really sets a standard for local businesses. 5 star service as always, and no doubt i will return!
The mocktails and cocktails were top-notch, and the beautifully decorated interiors added a special touch to the dining experience. Staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout.
Located in the heart of Stockton Heath with easy parking nearby—definitely a must-visit for anyone craving real Indian flavours in a stylish setting.
A special mention to owner partner Mr Pradeep, who personally looks after us and ensures everyone with us enjoy food and experience and well taken care of. His attention to other customers truly makes a difference.
Owners developed this restaurant with great thought and care every small detail reflects quality and passion.
A must-visit restaurant when you’re in Warrington! Highly recommended.
A year later I have to do another review. This restaurant just keeps getting better. The lamb biriyani we had tonight was ambrosial and better than any Michelin Indian I’ve been to. Please try it, you won’t be disappointed and it’s not expensive. Main courses are under £15. It’s exceptional.
Updated – revisited on 8th June. I’ve upgraded my original score to a 5. Had a fabulous visit this weekend and the food was divine. The chicken 65 was stunning and soft and perfectly cooked, same with our chicken curry, the chattinad. I had the salmon starter again and it was delicious. Service was faultless. It’s honestly a gem of a place, I highly recommend.
We had a really lovely evening at The Indian Courtyard and I would definitely go back. The service was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was buzzy and chilled music. Food presentation is immaculate and the crockery is gorgeous. The reason I can’t give a 5 for food is because the chicken we had in 2 dishes was overcooked. First in the chicken 65 it was too chewy inside as it had been fried too long (taste was delish). Then in our chicken curry main it was really very dry, although the sauce was very nice.
Nothing else was overcooked, the lamb was melt in the mouth and the fish was beautifully soft. But both chicken dishes were over, which was a shame.
Decor is tasteful with a hint of sophistication.
Service is efficient, friendly, and obliging with various requests.
Menu choice is not the largest but still had enough variety.
Food is fresh and well presented.
On street parking only.
Monkfish Curry was absolutely amazing.
Amazing from the minute you walk through the door… the decor is lovely, with the mood lighting and clean appearance. Lots of space for bigger groups with a beautiful upstairs area.
Pradeep and his team have excelled in every area of this business.
On to the food – mouth watering, spices/flavours bouncing all around your palette. Hands down the best Indian food I have ever had.
I will not be eating anywhere other than the Indian
Courtyard.
Massive selection of spirits and wines, they even have Non-alcoholic Gin
Thank you for a lovely and delightful experience
