Fantastic meal! The appetizer platter was delicious and our waiter was kind enough to explain what we were trying. It was delicious. We had the butter chicken and chicken curry, they were both fantastic and very flavorful. The naan could have been more garlicky but was still good! Only downside was it did take a bit to get our food but again once it came out, it was delicious! Very spacious area!

We went to dinner with no intentions of getting Indian food but the other place was closed. We didn’t even know there was an Indian place in the area so we decided to stop in and omg am I glad we did!!!! My favorite Indian place closed years ago in the north towns and haven’t found a decent place until now. I had lamb biryani and my husband had the chicken vindaloo. The herbs in biryani were so delicious, the meat was so tender, and it had a slight spice- so good. The vindaloo was so so so creamy and the flavor was just right. We both devoured our plates and could’ve licked the plates clean. I also washed it down with a mango lassi. The cook/owner came out with samples of her dessert that were so delicious. I would’ve ordered some but I was so deliciously full I couldn’t breathe haha. Cannot wait to go back!!!

My wife and I came in for dinner on Friday, 12 December 2025. Several other parties were dining in and there was a steady amount of take out orders from locals, including several Arcade PD officers. Always a good sign!

We started with the veg samosas, which were fresh, hot, and delicious!

We had gobi aloo and dal makhani for our entries with orders of cheese naan, garlic naan, and sides of raita and achar. Each entree came with fragrant basmati rice.

I also had a pot of masala chai and finished with the halva dessert.

Everything was made to order and super tasty. The staff were all very nice, attentive, and delivered excellent service.

If you prefer a spicier experience, be sure to ask to have your heat level adjusted to the amount that you prefer. Their default heat level is mild.

We look forward to going back very soon!

The Indian Bistro have fantastic food, a friendly atmosphere, and excellent service. The portion sizes are very generous and the pricing in very reasonable. You can tell a lot of care and expertise goes into every dish. Everything I have tried is absolutely delicious. The owner is incredibly sweet and eager to give each customer the best possible experience. This is definitely our new go to spot for ordering out!

It was so refreshing to find fresh made dishes from real ingredients in this area. My food was incredible. I had the Chicken 65, the Milk tea and the vegetable Samosas. Presentation was great too, made an ordinary quick stop for a meal feel special. Staff was also incredible. Hope they stick around for a long time. Go give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. Surroundings were also very clean. Wanted to add photos but didn’t figure that out.

We placed a catering order for a birthday party. Everything was delicious, fresh, and with extremely generous portions! The price per person was incredibly fair. We will absolutely be ordering again.

As a side note, we heard about the restaurant via TikTok, please keep posting so more people find your excellent restaurant!

From an Indian perspective, this is definitely NOT an authentic Indian restaurant or food. The menu is deceptive and Food is far from “Indian” as they claim, but sadly a PATHETIC mish mash of some Indian spices and a lot of food color ( seems like every dish is colored red). It felt like these people have no clue about the recipe or process of making an Indian dish!!!!
To those people who have liked the food here, I humbly suggest they try other Indian restaurants and see the difference for yourself. !! And to the chef here I definitely would like him/her to learn the recipes of these dishes !!! Just adding some spice and food color does not make an Indian dish!!! Or you guys should stop using the name “Indian” as it is absolutely not Indian.
Absolute waste of money and time.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had, right here in Arcade. Everything is fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious. Chicken curry is one of my favorites, and the mango lassis are out of this world. So good that I even had to order an extra one, to-go. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu.

I’m not saying it was terrible, but wasn’t good either. Honestly I’m quite disappointed.

Samosa – I didn’t eat that, please change the oil. And that’s the first time ever samosa was served without green and/or tamarind chutneys (see the photos). Minor, but: samosa served first not after the main dish.

Lamb biryani: if you expect any of the following to be in your biryani, don’t eat there, not a trace of these: birysta, garlic, ginger, fresh coriander, mint, cardamon, kewda/rose water. But it had: scallions, red onion, sweet pepper. Flavor is super far from what I would expect, some sort of pilaf, not biryani.

Garlic naan: barely any garlic if any at all, and super small.

Ras Malai: served in some transparent syrup. First time tried this variation. Too sweet and meh in general…

Ps: I realize that recipes can vary a lot from region to region and from cook to cook. So you decide after reading why I didn’t like it. Quality is also a question (e.g. oil).
