Shack storms with real cheesecake pieces?!? Love this place, I don’t care if it’s a little expensive for the whole family to enjoy, the quality far outweighs the cost. Their shack fries with the pulled pork and cheddar are amazing as well as their fried pierogies with lots of options for flavors (zesty is the best). You will not be disappointed ever.

Pretty much a plain jane , fast food but fresh cooked regular fare like burgers etc. Ribs are good as is the ice cream but no frills and a bit pricey for a fast food type kitchen..but food is better than say a bk or mc d’s..

A nice little place offering not only ice cream, but food as well. I’ve only ordered food once, and it was good, but I go for the ice cream. They have the very best black raspberry hand dipped I’ve ever had (including Manning’s for anyone who knows). My only complaint, if you can call it that, is their Saturday hours. We’ve been there when they are open in the evening, and we’ve gone when they were closed at the same time of day. I think their Saturday hours fluctuate and the public is given little to no notice of that. They may post it on a window, but unless you’ve been there in the days prior there is no way to know of the change. Besides that, highly recommended for their large selection of ice cream type items, and food.

We went to the Ice Shack for a quick bite. There aren’t any prices on the menu so I was a bit surprised when a small cheeseburger hoagie, small order of tenders, small order of pierogies, and cheesecurds, water and milk came out to $32.50!
The tenders were good, as was everything else but, the curds were the hit of the lunch, very tasty!
The folks working there are really efficient and very personable.
After lunch we had a soft black raspberry ice cream and a watermelon gelato. The soft ice cream had a strange aftertaste, was a bit gritty. The gelato was really good.
All in all it warrants a return trip!

We recently moved to Myerstown and kept wanting to stop in for a quick bite and some of their soft serve ice cream on sugar cones, so we stopped by today and were we ever sorry we waited so long to do so. They were very busy yet they managed to get our order to us in no time and it was delicious. I had a double cheeseburger and waffle fries and my wife had a fish sandwich…and both meals were perfectly cooked…but the real treat was the ice cream, so cold and creamy on a hot day that we had to eat it fast to stay ahead of it melting. But it was well worth the mess, it was wonderful….so cold and sweet that it reminded you of how good ice cream tasted when you were a little kid on a hot summer day and your parents piled you into the back seat of the car saying, “Come on kids, let’s go get some ice cream!” And let me tell you, the Ice Shack lived up to it’s much deserved good reputation and did not disappoint us. In fact, they made new friends of the both of us and we definitely will go back soon and hopefully again and again. The staff was kind and caring and aimed to please, and we were more than pleased. And it sure didn’t hurt my opinion of the place any that they had my favorite burger topping…horseradish sauce. Yum. Yum. Thank you!

been going here for a few years, and they never fail to disappoint! the employees are lovely and very understanding. they even accommodate strange requests, like when i ask for them to water down their lemonade for me. 🙂
the food is a little on the pricey side, but i think its worth it for the true quality of the food and customer service!

Brisket sandwich was on the money, smoky n juice. Sitting on Patio and enjoying food and scenery, awesome experience. Definitely coming back when in town again. Friendly staff and good service.
