Hungry Ninja is a little gem in the Santa Clarita Valley. Been eating here at lunch for many years and the food is always excellent! Also, very affordable pricing. They give you a lot of food for your money! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE HUNGRY NINJA!

Came here for the first time in years and ordered a large pineapple chicken and ordered drinks the most everyone ordered drinks out of the fridge there my daughter and I ordered fountain drinks and found the fountain machine was down the whole time noone came to tell me the what was going on with the machine and only found out in the end that it was up and working again when I asked for a refund he misunderstood me and tried to charge me again and I had to remind him we paid in the beginning in the middle of the process I see the kid on his phone just standing there, though he is just a kid and he may be forced to help the family so I’ll give him a benefit of a doubt. Besides that everything else was fine and the associates were nice.

The Hungry Ninja – A Nostalgic Disappointment
The Hungry Ninja, a local favorite, has held a special place in my heart since 2011, when I was in high school. The half chicken and half beef rice combo plate was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece back then. It was known for its perfectly cooked meats, flavorful rice, and fresh vegetables. Fast-forward 13 years, and the anticipation of reliving those cherished memories of what I once considered my dream food was palpable.
With great expectations, I revisited The Hungry Ninja. However, my excitement soon turned into a deep sense of disappointment. The food items that once were a testament to quality and flavor have undergone a noticeable decline, leaving me with a heavy heart. The chicken, once cooked with such intense heat that it achieved a perfect char, now lacks that fiery, satisfying texture. The beef, formerly tender and aromatic, no longer possesses the same enticing allure. The accompanying steamed rice and mixed vegetables, which used to complement the meats so perfectly, failed to impress as they once did.
It pains me to say that the overall umami of the dish has diminished. The Hungry Ninja now stands as a shadow of its former self, a mere memory of the culinary delight it used to offer. This once-beloved combo plate did not meet my expectations, leaving me to reminisce about the vibrant flavors of the past. The disappointment was not just in the taste, but also in the loss of a cherished memory, which made the experience even more disheartening.
While my visit was fueled by nostalgia, the reality did not live up to the cherished recollections. Thus, I rate The Hungry Ninja three stars, with a glimmer of hope that it may one day recapture the magic that once made it a standout dining experience.

We love Hungry Ninja! We normally split the large chicken teriyaki (well done) with veggies and rice. So yummy! Hungry Ninja is quick, really tasty, friendly service, and clean. For the most part, we pick it up to eat at home but there is plenty of seating inside or out on the patio.

The customer service is terrible. My husband got food poisoning here 2 separate times. The lady is lazy and just makes her son do ALL the work while her and her husband sit doing nothing, literally Everytime we have ever gone we see this. They don’t even answer the phone right next to them and just let it ring, making their son answer it IF he has time, on top of making him cook, clean and deal with customers.

Been going here over 25 years and it’s the best teriyaki you’ll ever find in life. They make the sauce from scratch and use Japanese rice. Once you try , you will go here for life. Better than Benihana times a mil!

The cashier and greeter Paul is one of the friendly and considerate people I’ve ever met its hard to leave upset after interacting with him. He definitely deserves a raise. They better recognize or a smart business is gonna steal him. Oh and the food is a great. It a teriyaki style joint, simple but good.
