We attended the clambake this past Saturday. My family from NJ was very impressed with everything. The food was outstanding! We loved the sangria of the month.

My husband and I (fiance at the time) ran into a last minute fiasco with our rehearsal dinner. Last minute, the Hungry Hiker crew stepped right in and got us on the schedule, EXCEEDED all of our expectations, and did so with nothing but smiles. We were so impressed with the quality of the food and the portions. Everything was such a hit including the desserts and chicken sliders, burgers, you name it. I know my go to from here on out!

I really want to love this food truck, the photos always look amazing but after trying food here three different times, it just hasn’t lived up to expectations for our family. The food has consistently felt underwhelming for the price. For example, the $10 pumpkin Bundt cake was unfortunately quite dry, and our burgers tasted overcooked. I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but after giving it several tries, I feel like something just isn’t quite clicking. Hoping things improve, because the concept and presentation are great.

This was our fist time visiting and certainly not our last. Everything about this place was fantastic! Chef Timm is very creative and puts out delicious meals. We had the Poke-o-Poutine appetizer; Sabattis Steak Dinner and Cliffs Chicken Dinner for entrees; finished with a crème brûlée donut for dessert. Everything was packed with flavor.

Chef Tim really delivers an amazing cusine! We have loved everything we have had at the Hungry Hiker. The steak sandwich is better than steak sandwiches in Philly (capital of steak sandwiches) the French onion dip should be a daily menu item… it is unbelievable goodness especially served with Pita chips . Makes it like a piece of heaven on earth! The ruebens are amazing. Hands down the best food truck ! An awesome addition to our favorite winery!

I had a few clients out for a wine tasting and some shareable food! Everything was absolutely amazing! The charcuterie board was one of the best I have ever had and the campfire pizza was to die for!! They went above and beyond! The Chef made sure everything was the way I wanted it!! I will definitely be bringing people back!

I had not planned to stop but just happened to be driving by and needed dinner. Baby Back ribs were really good and hit the spot. A bit of bark and the fat was rendered while the meat still had a bit of chew (ie not overdone). The BBQ sauce was incredible which is high praise given I am VERY picky with sauces. Certainly better than many of the other BBQ options in the greater Akron area.

If I had to nit-pick, (owning/running 3 backyard smokers myself) I like a bit more smokey flavor on the ribs. (I could not identify the smoking woods, but given I did not get the Hickory nutty flavor so I would guess Oak+Cherry?). I would also suggest maybe switching to a multi compartment to-go tray to keep the separate food items (hot ribs vs cold slaw) from ending up jumbled together. None of these are show stoppers though and would not prevent my repeat business.

Timm catered our engagement party dinner; everyone loved the mac and cheese bar, pulled pork & chicken, homemade salsas, dips and tortillas. Beautiful place and great food!
