The Hungry Hero has ruined other dessert places for me. Everything they make is delicious and I think about their cinnamon rolls all the time. I actually think about all their offerings all the time. The cakes are good, the bars are good, the cookie creams are good. I’ve never been disappointed there, everything is on other level of tasty.

This place is DANGEROUS! I love it too, too much. I dream about the bars, the cakes, the cookies, all of it. All of it! Ugh. It’s ridiculous how much I love the desserts here.
We unfortunately live a short drive away from Hungry Hero, so there’s absolutely no point in me ever trying to lose weight because this place will lure me back in time and time again. It’s so good. So good!
I love the cookies (yes, I’ve tried pretty much all of them, and they are all delicious), but the bars are really extra dreamy. And I ordered our first cake from here recently, and now there’s no ordering cakes from anywhere else. My family would revolt if I tried. We all LOVE their chocolate layer cake!
The people who work here are always so nice. And the shop itself is cuuuuute! So bright and colorful and unless you have a cold dead heart, it will surely put a smile on your face. It always does mine.
Great. Now I am craving a funfetti bar. Darn you, Hungry Hero!
Oh! And street parking is always super easy for me to find right by or across from the shop. It’s in old town Sherwood, just a few minutes off of Highway 99. Super cute place with the best desserts! Go support this awesome local dessert shop!

We served Hungry Hero desserts at our wedding and couldn’t be happier that we did! Everything looked and tasted so good! They had a great variety to choose from. We loved having a dessert table and also a small wedding cake for us to cut. And the cake was amazing! It was so great that they provided serving platters for us to borrow and they were so easy to work with. Can’t wait to get more treats from Hungry Hero in the future!

Always a delicious stop! This was the twins’ first trip where they were old enough to eat the treats and they are FANS! Got the chocolate sprinkle cookie, the gooey butter bar, the classic brownie, cereal killer cookie and the gay bar OF COURSE. come here and get good desserts every time!

Amazing cake and dessert bars! For our wedding, we got a small cake to cut for ourselves and a variety of bars to share with guests, which were a big hit! Everything from going to the shop to sample the treats, placing the order online, and getting it delivered to the venue went very smoothly. Thank you!!

This place is awesome! Discovered it in a cute little area in Sherwood, and this bakery felt like such a great discovery. They have bars, cookies, cupcakes, and more. A lot of cool flavors too, as well as your more standard classics. Best of all, rather than being a jack of all trades type place, all of their offerings are of quality. I would highly recommend their cupcakes and their filled cookies. They have a pack for $16 that really gives you a lot to choose from. Different options for different prices and I love that variety. And visiting this place during Pride Month is perfect as they really get into it.

Stopped by while we were on this side of town. Atmosphere and service were top notch. The small treat box was incredible value! The treats were good, however, a bit too sweet for our taste.
The Snickerdoodle was the perfect thin, yet chewy texture, but didn’t love all the crunchy sugar on top. The Brownie was chewy and a bit fudgy. The Strawberry Bar was similar, but packed an incredible strawberry flavor. The Cereal Killer was also great in texture with a little melted marshmallow in the center. The cupcakes were good, but I wish the churro flavor was available to try.
Overall, a good place if you have a sweet tooth and want to try a variety of treats!
