We stopped by The Hungry Greek during a quick business trip to Tampa—and wow, what a find! Quick, healthy, and so satisfying.
I had the Grilled Veggie Bowl with shrimp—packed with brown rice, grilled broccoli, carrots, edamame, red pepper, and spicy hummus. Loved that you can also add chicken, gyro meat, or salmon depending on what you’re craving!
My hubby went classic with a Greek salad and Gyro Pita—fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgence. We both had unsweetened tea, which paired perfectly.
Such a great spot for fresh, fast-casual Greek food. First time here, and definitely impressed—we’ll be back next time we’re in town!

I am giving three stars. Despite it being somewhat slow, it took a surprisingly long time to get our food. The cashier got my wife’s order wrong BUY she did read it back to me and I didn’t notice the error so as. UCB on me as on the waitress. Plus, the manager was super friendly when I raised

My wife enjoyed her falafel pita, and I loved the lemons chicken rice soup. I wasn’t sure about the soup when I ordered and I ended up being pretty surprised.
I leaned toward three stars but the managers service caused me to move it to 4 stars.

First time trying it out and it was amazing. Really big portions for 12$ for chicken souvlaki and also 12$ for gyro plate. Taste is great too. We will be back for sure!

This is my go to take out spot for nights when nobody knows what they want for dinner. The chicken/lemon soup is standard fare for anyone in our family who feels under the weather. The staff are friendly and the service is always pretty quick.

Service was a little slow but not the worst lunch wait. For 15 bucks I’d want more from my chicken pita meat. Just a wrap no sides or drink. Not the greatest size or portion. Barely any ceasar dressing

First time visiting the location. Super clean & friendly staff. Had chicken pita with potato salad. Food was really good. I would recommend this place for lunch!
Update: been back since my initial review and they are GREAT! Polite staff, clean location & food is awesome. During COVID times you can see the staff keeping the location clean. A+! Added more pics! YUM!

I went here after work one day with a coworker. They staff was super nice and friendly. The food was good, however it seem to be a little salty for me. We also bought a few desserts to go and they were amazing.

I got the Greek rice bowl and it couldn’t have been more bland. Parboiled brown rice, completely unseasoned toppings. Husband had gyro that was pretty good.

So the picture below cost $44 bucks…not terribly overpriced but definitely got that “chain restaurant” that I’m paying more for the name than the food, feel.
Soup: loved it!
Spanakopita: was maybe made yesterday or early morning, good flavor but missed the freshness of food that wasn’t reheated or sitting under heat all day.
Greek fries: cold and hard. Not worth the $3.50 upgrade charge to go with the pita.
Chicken pita: super tasty!! Will get again!
Greek salad (added grilled chicken and extra feta): also super tasty but kinda hate that they charge for ANYTHING EXTRA (like tomatoes or cucumbers or dressing. One dressing for a big salad seemed unreasonable). Potato salad was underwhelming and scoop was SMALL; don’t bother with an extra scoop it’s not worth the $$.
Lots of employees working on a Friday night but everyone was working well together. Busy without being a chaotic mess. Will be back.

The staff was super friendly and helpful of the menu. The pita bread we got was very flavorful and soft. The gyro plate comes with a lot of food that will fill you up. The rice pilaf was very good, the gyro had a lot of flavor, and the Greek salad was amazing! Will definitely be back
