I ordered a gyro plate with the photo showing salad on the plate over a bed of rice and the gyro. I also asked to include silverware since it was a hotel delivery. Meal arrived, no silverware, and the meal itself was only rice and gyro pieces, no salad. The gyro tasted like rubber. Really disappointed ☹️

**I’ve been a loyal customer of Hungry Greek in Westchase for a long time. I’ve always enjoyed the food and cleanliness, and in the past I even gave them a 5-star review. Unfortunately, in my last several visits, the food quality has gone down drastically. Today it was so bad that I had to throw my meal straight into the trash — the meat smelled old, and I couldn’t even bring it close to my nose.

I called the store and complained respectfully, as I always do. The gentleman I spoke with said they would credit me back, but as of now I haven’t seen it. That part is not as important as the fact that customers should never be served old meat or food cooked with burned oil.

After spending almost $60 for three sandwiches that were inedible, I cannot recommend this place anymore until I personally see improvements. For now, I’ve taken down my positive review and left one star. If they credit me back and make the necessary changes, I am willing to give them one last chance. But unless things change, this was my final visit.**

DON’T SKIP DESSERT!!!
We eat here often- either delivery, take out, or dine in. Everything we get is always super fresh and delicious. The staff here is always friendly, attentive and fast to prepare our order. Upon recommendation from a friend we got dessert. OMG I would have never expected cake like that from a neighborhood restaurant. We both had the chocolate mousse cake. It reminded me of the cakes you would get in a NY bakery – but this was actually so much better. Light and airy chocolate cake layered with mousse and a huge dollop of mousse on top all covered with a perfect coating of ganache. So a huge thank you to my friend! We will be returning again very soon! ❤️

They were super nice! The falafel was fresh and tasty! The gyro was excellent! They have plenty of dessert options and they have both and indoor and outdoor seating area. The excellent service along with the delicious food make this place one of my favorite local spots! I highly recommend to try this location (there’s a few of them).

This restaurant, Tate, is a hidden gem for those seeking a delightful Greek culinary experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re enveloped in warm hospitality that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining journey. The menu showcases a unique blend of Mediterranean flavors, each dish crafted with meticulous attention to detail and bursting with fresh, authentic ingredients. Every time I visit, I leave feeling satisfied and utterly delighted, and I can’t resist the allure of returning to this culinary paradise. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a taste of Greece in a truly exceptional setting.

The Greek salad with the Gyro was fresh, clean, and had such a delicious taste it blew my mind! Where it fell short was the Lamb meat. It just tasted very…I don’t know Commercial. It didn’t taste like back home (nyc/nj) But all in all the Greek deserves 4 stars. Excellent food, service and decor.

The Hangry Greek is hands down one of my favorite spots for authentic Greek food. The Gyro Pita is perfectly seasoned, and the tzatziki sauce adds just the right amount of flavor. Portions are generous, and the food always feels fresh. The staff here treats you like family, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for dinner, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Greek cuisine!”

I didnt have a great experience today. We ordered Phily Pita and Hungry Pita for takeout. I had to wait much longer than expected on the takeout (I understand it was Sunday night so everyone was busy). Phily Pita was good but Hungry Pita had a burnt Gyro meat which I didn’t expect. Todays experience is inconsistent compared to my previous visits here.. I mostly had good experiences before.. Wouldn’t recommend the food on a busy day. I gave 3 stars for my good experiences before
