I’ve been to other locations of The Hungry Greek but tried this one for the first time today. Their food is so freaking delicious and portions are huge! Prices are good too considering I got 2 meals out of my Greek Bowl and honestly could have made it three. Definitely worth a visit if you want some fresh, healthy, we’ll prepared food.

My wife and I had a great dining experience trying the Hungry Greek at the Van Dyke location. We usually go to the Lutz location. The food at this location was OUTSTANDING, prepared fresh and delicious. The staff was so professional and caring. The Hungry Greek delivers a consistent level of high quality food and service at EVERY location. This location is tops too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Horrible experience! So disappointed
The lady who took our order was very nice and polite. However, another lady who seemed to be her manager interrupted while we were making our order and started changing our order without even asking us if we want to make the changes. She was very angry and rude. We reviewed the order and found items that we didn’t want and had to request them to be cancelled. The manager should get educated on basics of customer service and obviously not adding items to the customer’s order without the customer knowing.

The family and I had a great experience at the Hungry Greek! The place is family friendly and had vegan and vegetarian options as well!
The kids devoured the generously portioned grilled cheese and fries, and their satisfied smiles were all the validation you need. As for the veggie bowl, it was a symphony of flavors! The falafel was perfectly crispy, the hummus vibrant and bursting with spice, and the whole composition a testament to the restaurants attention to detail. My falafel gyro was equally commendable – the savory flavors and creamy white sauce were a perfect harmony. And all of it at such a reasonable price; The Hungry Greek is a hidden gem!

I’m so happy they finally put something in this plaza that I know will stick around! My partner and I love the Hungry Greek location by us but this new one by my parents is just as good.
Very clean and friendly workers here, our food came out hot and delicious. If you’re vegan/vegetarian or have dietary restrictions everything is super easy to substitute!
My only complaint is that this location doesn’t have the bell to ring for good service and food, guess we’ll say this review is me ringing the bell

I had a gyro on pita, and the pita was hard and mostly inedible. The meat was good. The other gyro on pita in my order was good. Also, I would not have ordered the potato salad if knew it had carrots in it. I have never known Greek potato salad to be made the way it is made here. Also, I didn’t check my receipt for order accuracy, but what I said for my order wasn’t what was placed as my order specifically I didn’t ask for pepperoncini and most definitely not extra pepperoncini. The inconsistency in the meal was unexpected and off putting.

I’ve been ordering the same salad weekly for four years ! However, the quality has gone downhill. They water down their dressing and hummus to the point where it doesn’t have flavor anymore. Sadly , I’ve ordered my last salad here because they won’t stop cutting corners ! It’s a $21.00 salad stop being so cheap and ruining your dressing and sides with water!

I have a nonprofit organization giving free haircuts and just happened to mention it… Without delay they immediately offered to donate food for my client appreciation day. Five stars all around for his establishment. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is fresh and delicious, with generous portion sizes. The eat-in area is relatively small (maybe 10-15 tables), but is clean and welcoming.
