With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

So I went to the other Human bean and they messed our drinks up so bad I couldn’t even drink them. They were a completely different color than normal and tasted awful. I was heading this way so I figured why not ask if they could re make them for me and she had no problem. Made them extremely fast and was the nicest to us. 10/10 experience. If you’re seeing this ( the one working 5/5 at 10am thank you so much for remaking the drinks we appreciate your kindness!!

Ordered a drink and did tap pay, with a cash tip $2 for one drink (simple), next day my total changes and they clearly added a virtual tip without my consent. Did not touch any buttons and was not asked to do a virtual tip hence why I left a two dollar tip. Won’t be back, that was disappointing.

I went to this Human Bean by the hospital and got a medium iced coffee with a little cream, and a splash of flavored syrup. When I got it, I couldn’t put my straw in because it was slapped full of ice. I dumped all the ice out and only a little liquid was left. Maybe 8oz worth? Not even a normal coffee mug worth. For $3! What a joke. Won’t go back, or to any other large coffee chain. If I’m out, I’ll get one from a local place. Do not recommend.

I’m visiting from Illinois and I was overjoyed to find this Human Bean coffee place in Roseburg! I’ve been to the one in Beaverton many times.
I don’t even drink coffee, but I’ve found that The Human Bean is the only place that makes a terrific hot chocolate….other chains either don’t make it hot enough and it leaves a bad aftertaste, or one place in particular always taste like it’s been burnt.
I’d love for The Human Bean to come out to Illinois in multiple locations.

Best drive thru in Roseburg. If I am in a hurry and can’t stop at my favorite coffee house, this is my go to. Always friendly baristas, always a great Americano to help me keep rushing around. Thank you, Human Bean!!!

Not sure what it is with the Roseburg Human Beans I order a simple drink for them to make they can’t seem to get it right, I order No foam in my hot coffee drink and over half cup is foam. They raised their prices as well I would hope they would get it right.

Amazing coffee! Since I moved here from Seattle I’ve had a hard time finding a good coffee place. I’ve tried every where it’s never right the taste is always little off. When I tried this place it was perfect. Even when a vist other place its always perfect. They have great prices to. Love, love, love The Human bean♡
