With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

I just want to say how much I love this stand! The honey lavender latte is amazing. I can always count on the girls being so genuinely nice and happy! The manager is so sweet and remembers my drink 🙂 love that I can count on this stand every morning

We were waiting at the window for 10 min and the guy had the audacity to ask if we already paid when we did and acused us of not paying our order when we did he said we were just trying to get free food.. ? Like maybe do better and know when you are charging.

Super friendly and great drinks! Sometimes there’s a long line but staff works very hard to successfully keep it moving while also always keeping friendly smiles and very happy attitudes!!! They have always accommodated any special drink needs especially with kiddos! There phone app is great and easy to use as well.

I think it is time to find a new coffee place! I have gone here numerous times, and numerous times I’ve got the incorrect order.
How hard is it to figure out a breve mocha? I constantly have to remind them that it is a breve mocha, not simply a breve, where I end up with the wrong drink. That has happened several times.
The people here are nice enough, but there is no consistency. Today, my drink was correct, but as seen in the photo, on a 20 ounce drink I was short changed about 2 inches. What’s the deal? Drinks cost so much these days, to get less than what you paid for is kind of the last straw with me. Moving on to somewhere else.
Just FYI. They can’t use the foam settling excuse, as the top 2 inches of the cup is clean.

I strictly come here because of three of the ladies that work here are awesome and they deserve patronage and tips! The coffee prices have went up so much it’s kind of crazy… and getting unaffordable! It’s the morning staff that keeps me coming back!!

My girlfriend and I waited for about 15 minutes from 7:50-8:02 while they slowly helped the customer ahead of us (who was already there when we pulled up for an unknown amount of time) and when we pulled up they inform us they are closed. You couldn’t just help us as the last customers of the night ??

Out of towner who stopped just to treat myself to a Mother’s Day coffee, was suprised with some roses to go with my coffee. Thanks to the girls working who made the rainy day better. They even gave me my favorite color of rose…yellow.

The Canby Human Bean is the best coffee stand in the region. I live in town and work in Wilsonville, but I go here because the coffee is good and it’s the only place nearby where customer service isn’t terrible. Even their nearest other location has staff who are really rude. Don’t even get me started about “Dutch Dudes.” But this Canby location sets the standard for coffee stand quality service. They rock. Also, I have much respect for the note at the window that states they don’t ask for tips. Thats how it should be. They don’t hand me a tablet asking for tips and that’s why I tip them. Keep it up homies.
