With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

We visited this coffee shop everything we are in town. The service is friendly and high efficient. The coffees are absolutely amazing. I love the Salted Carmel Mocha but havent had a bad drink. The chocolate covered coffee bean with every drink is a nice added touch.

Okay so I gave all good stars but the last 2 times I’ve been there have been kind of frustrating. I was charged twice and before that the barista seemed pretty absent minded and told me she couldn’t scan my phone for points… I love this coffee shop so much! I did email directly about being overcharged for a drink I didn’t order. Hopefully I hear back. I’ve been here a ton over the years so I mean sometimes these things happen..

I was visiting Lassen Volcanic NP and stopped by to grab a coffee after seeing the good reviews. I ordered the cold brew with plain cold foam. The oatmilk foam that the barista made tasted great but the coffee wasn’t so good. They need to either source better quality beans or find a better roaster. The coffee was bitter without any of the richness or complexity that comes with a good roast. I had to go to the local Starbucks for a better cup.

Energy drinks used to be better when they used Rockstar to make them, now they use a different brand of energy drinks and drinks aren’t the same. On another note their coffee and Italian sodas are good. If unsure of what to get try the Java Chip Granita, you won’t regret it.

Honestly wonderful, every time I’ve gone here I get nothing but smiles and excitement. I had the lady make me a shine or whatever it’s called and they did amazing. It was strawberry cupcake white chocolate with a cream base. They went above and beyond what I assumed they would do and for that they have my thanks. If you are on the fence about trying a new coffee shop try human bean first as I think they beat every other one

This is the best coffee shop in Red Bluff. I’ve tried them all but this place is my favorite. Try a sugar free cinnamon roll (white choc/brown sugar) snowy, oatmilk, large, extra hot.

They changed to only sugar free energy drinks. I used to stop here multiple times a week for years. Now, I will never be back. Their new energy drink they made just takes like copper. It doesn’t matter what flavor you get, it’s always going to taste heavily of copper. The fake sugar is horrid. If you want a mixed energy drink, just go to Dutch. Dutch isn’t much better but at least it doesn’t taste like you’re drinking heavy metals. Would return if they got rid of their disgusting energy drink they came up with.
