With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

We have a Human Bean by us in Idaho and it’s our favorite coffee place where we live. We were in Herriman over the weekend and tried this location. It did not disappoint. Everything was fantastic, service was friendly, and you have to love the chocolate covered coffee bean that comes with each drink. This is our favorite place in Idaho, and so far our favorite coffee place in the Salt Lake area as well, as coffee chains go.

Marita was an outstanding staff member, she was super cheerful, totally professional, and gave amazing recommendations to a Human Bean newby like me. Normally I would be scared to try a new place because of my social anxiety, but I’m so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something new. Marita truly went above and beyond, even going as far as giving me a compliment on my beat up old Honda Odyssey.
The drink I got was the James Dean, which was recommended to me. It’s a secret item on the secret menu. How cool is that?? Not only do they have an extensive normal ah menu, but you’re telling me there’s also a SECRET menu?! Wow, who new I’d be drinking an energy drink at an escape room type brewery. 5 stars. Again Marita is awesome!

I had the most amazing experience yesterday at this coffee shop shop!! Dezzi who took my order was so sweet, patient with me and knowledgeable about their drinks. Put a smile on my face for the rest of my day! Coffee was outstanding (I took her recommendation) and I was in and out in less than 3 minutes.

This place far exceeded my expectations. I’ve never had a smoothie with such a natural and strong flavor; it’s definitely not a cheap franchise flavor. We ordered a Piña Colada smoothie and a Strawberry and Banana smoothie. Both were super delicious, and the staff was very kind and friendly

I’m the odd one out in my family; I don’t like coffee. But the drink options here are almost unlimited!! Tea, smoothies, hot chocolate, frozen hot chocolate.. Everything I’ve had has been delicious!

It’s the vibe for sure. Fun doodles on the lids, nice outdoor seating with lawn chairs, great service. Had a tasty iced vanilla latte on my mental health day as a little treat and it did not disappoint.

The nicest baristas ever!!! I am an iced chai connoisseur and am very picky about which chai I like and this chai was amazing!! I love their Little Beans menu and love that the cup is reusable at home! I was delighted to get my tasty chai today with this sweet message written on it!
My toddler loved his Italian soda he ordered and asked for another lol there are lots of drink places in Herriman/Riverton, but I would go out of my way to come here. I am excited to try the frozen hot chocolate next!
