Social Profile:

With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

Drive-thru chain serving espresso, coffee, tea, smoothies & kid-friendly beverages.

We went through the drive through and had some coffee, which was great! Not as sweet as Starbucks drinks, but I think that’s a good thing. They also give free chocolate covered coffee beans, which are delicious!

We stopped at The Human Bean two times while in the Laramie area in 2023. We were in the area again this year (2024) and were excited return, again we were there two times! It was delicious every single time and the staff is SO friendly!! The consistency of good drinks, food, and friendly staff has us returning. We love The Human Bean!

Food: Spectacular coffee and chai latte; they even give a little chocolate coffee bean on top of each drink! The letdown here were the bagel sandwiches. The bagel itself was a little dry, and the sausage and egg were definitely microwaved. That said, it’s probably difficult to make a fresh sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich in their shop

Service: Very happy servers who just brighten your day!

Atmosphere: It’s mostly a drive through with a long line. Otherwise, you can order at the window, which we did, for takeaway or dining “in” at the single picnic table outside. There’s also a doggy bowl outside which is nice if you bring your dog!

I was very excited to find a coffee shop that also had boba, but let me say I was a little disappointed. Don’t get the boba, if you are a big boba lover, and don’t try the boba here and decide you don’t like boba. Much like how the coffee drinks tasted more like syrup than coffee, the boba was more like the cheap canned boba than actual boba. I applaud them for trying though.

The atmosphere is cute! The dog bowl outside and the shop as a whole was nice. The drinks are pretty, the service is great. I tried the signature Carmel Granito (may have butchered the spelling) and I just wasn’t all that impressed. It was worth a try! It was also a little pricey in my opinion. Two drinks was 16 bucks.

The service there is amazing, whoever the one lady was with a beanie and brown hair complimenting my nails, getting me in and out of that drive thru fast is an amazing worker. Good coffee aswell, whoever works there is a g to the max and thanks for making my day start off really good!!

I’ve visited all the coffee shops in Laramie, and by far, the best for customer service is Human Bean. It must be a company culture because when I’m in Fort Collins and go to grab a cup of coffee, usually at the Windsor location, it’s the same positive upbeat attitude. If you feel groggy or crappy in the morning, run by their coffee joint. The perkiness of their staff will brighten your day. I always want to leave them a huge tip because that’s how much their attitude affects my mood and I just want them to know that. Bonus, I grabbed a pound of coffee that one of their employees recommended, and I absolutely love it—no more 20+ dollar coffees for me. I will buy my beans from the Human Bean from now on. I just wish I remembered what the coffee I purchased was. I’m sure they’ll help me figure it out the next time I purchase. Love these guys and this place!!!

Horrible experience. Waited over 15 minutes for two simple coffees, had to leave before even getting my drinks. Manager didn’t offer to help when I called, she only told me I was wrong and didn’t wait “15 minutes”. Save your time and money and go to Turtle Rock.

The staffing is so friendly and so sweet, I always have a great experience coming through.
I came through drive thru today and ordered a chocolate chip granita with salted caramel sauce and salted caramel cold foam with an asiago bagel and a pumpkin ICED snowy.

Everytime the service is always top tier

How you can let someone stand at the walk up window for over 5 minutes and not even acknowledge that I exist is entirely unacceptable. I get you are busy. Just acknowledge that I exist and you’ll get my order shortly. This place gets worse every single time I try to go. IF they don’t want my money, I’m done giving it to them.

Edit in response to owners response: The walk up window was wide open. The girls inside seemed to be actively avoiding acknowledging that I existed. I’m pretty hard to miss, so all I asked was that I was acknowledged while patiently waiting. I would have happily continued waiting had they just said we’ll be with you in a moment. Sorry that my expectations to be acknowledged as a customer are beyond your expectations.
