With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

NEVER AGAIN. the $3 cup of coffee had TONS of “floaties.” I don’t know how good their coffee tastes ‘CUZ I THREW IT OUT.
I wasn’t gonna complain to management and get another cup . . . . Of “FLOATIES.”
It’s the First and Last time I’ll ever visit this place. You know what “they” say about first impressions….. and they FAILED theirs.
It’s actually too bad ‘cuz the place had potential. “Curb Appeal” is pretty high… which is a “must” I suppose since they Do NOT Have Any Quality Control.
Good help MUST be hard to find, ‘cuz THIS crew sure doesn’t give a Shitake mushroom about the product they Shitake out.
Overall, I’m most disappointed that I won’t have a quick “Stop-n-Go” coffee shop at that intersection. I’ll just keep going to Sheetz, I guess.

Came on 10/19 around 5am. The cutest little coffee shop. Katy was the kindest barista, she took her time to answer all of my questions, even though I did have a lot to be honest. Such a cute aesthetic and creative drink options. I ended up getting the seasonal pumpkin drink, and even though it was experimental (for me), I ended up loving it. I would absolutely recommend for anyone. 10 out of 10, better than Starbucks. Also had early hours for people who might be traveling or heading to work.

This is my favorite stopping place on my way out to Columbus from Lancaster PA. It’s basically right off of 70 so it’s an easy on/off! Service is fast and the coffee is amazing!

We were leaving our hotel and the name of this fantastic little coffee shop caught my eye. I’m a sucker for puns so we had to stop. I’m so glad we did. We went through the drive through and there were several cars in front of us but we didn’t wait long at all. I ordered the cold brew with toasted marshmallow cold foam and my husband ordered the raspberry energy. Each drink came with a chocolate covered espresso bean which was such a nice touch. Both drinks were amazing. The cold brew was nice and bold and the cold foam on top was perfect. Roasted marshmallow is one of my favorite flavors so I was super excited to see it listed on the menu. The service was fantastic. They even gave us pup cups with little dog biscuits on top. Would definitely recommend this as a stop and will be back when we come through next time.

Delicious drinks. Got the blueberry pomegranate smoothie and the frozen salted caramel mocha. The smoothie tastes very fresh and the mocha has ammonia good coffee flavor to it. I also got the cake cop and it was okay. It was a little bigger than starbucks but not as tasty.

The attitudes of the baristas are actually horrible! It feels like I went into a high school and it was all mean girls especially when I ordered my drinks! Snickering an making jokes about what I ordered… unprofessional and gross behavior!

Taking the middle ground on this one. With anticipation and finally trying a drink, Mexi mocha, it’s executed on point. This is def a, when the mood hits for a fun and fancy sweet coffee! We were offered this mini dragon egg, without explanation so I asked to find out it’s a chocolate covered espresso bean. Personally it’s too much chocolate to bean than I prefer. So how could we not try a fancy sandwich?! Unfortunately when one couldn’t have cheese added, then being served piping hot all the signs are there. It’s premade microwaved food, should have guessed with the size of the building probably. As hot bread cools like that, the edges get hard and it defeats the flavors. So we’ll be back, just not for food.

The drinks are absolutely wonderful made very well. The staff is very very friendly. The sandwich bacon with Gouda cheese is terrible. There’s hardly any bacon one little tiny piece of raw bacon then Gouda and cheese so basically it’s a Gouda cheese sandwich. The spicy sausage sandwich is very good.

I got an iced salted caramel chai and it was genuinely the best chai i’ve ever had. It wasn’t too milky and it had the perfect amount of salted caramel flavoring. The coffee I got was slightly strong (personally love a sweet coffee) but was still delicious. The staff was also lovely!!! Highly recommend!!
