With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

I stopped by there today and had their featured drink for the month Java Chip. It was fabulously delicious!! I will absolutely revisit and definitely recommend The Human Bean to everyone I know! I also LOVE the fact that they have a kid’s selection called Little Bean!

Tried it for the first time today and will definately be back. The frozen coffee drink has a good coffee flavor unlike other shops. The service was great and the building looked cool. Glad to have them in our neighborhood. Drive through only
Been a big fan since they opened but got a couple of granitas today and they were different than normal. Not much coffee flavor and no syrup on the sides as usual. Just bland. I hope they haven’t changed the recipe or we get different drinks based on who makes them. Hopefully they will get back to the originals.
They started strong but have faded. The last 3 times I tried it, the granitas were not good. I tried ithe java chip again this morning and it was the worst yet. Maybe the milk was bad but it had a weird, funky flavor. PLEASE PLEASE get back to your original quality. It’s bad when McDonald’s is equal.

Yay for this new location in Ashland, KY! Delicious coffees, teas, and foods. They have plenty to choose from on their menu and also have items for children. The coffee bean placed on top of each cup is a yummy treat! I always eat it first. The team is friendly and service is prompt.

Went through today and ordered two drinks. Service is always great! I ordered a Poolside and an iced mocha. So glad everything was delicious! Thank you!!!!!
Went through the drive thru and got two lemonades. I asked if they had any and they said yes. Service was great.
I had just finished with my church’s food pantry and my son and I were tired and thirsty. We paid and left. Our drinks looked like water but I had never had a non coffee drink there. We could not taste any lemon! Stirred it up and it had a little lemon taste. If they didn’t do lemonade just tell me and I would have ordered something else.

New business in town, and it’s off to an excellent start! Service is friendly and efficient, coffee is fresh and tastes great. Drive thru was busy but traffic flowed well during opening weekend. There is also a walk up window. Have to recommend the cold brew with cold foam, but I look forward to trying more from the menu We were given a chocolate covered espresso bean on our drink lids as an extra little treat.
