With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

I had been thrilled when they began to offer BB’s bagels. I got a few that were really, really, really good. However, this last visit the bagel suddenly shrunk in size. It’s no where near the size of a BB’s bagel and for the price of 8 bucks!? Crazy disappointing. Look at it against the size of the 4oz cream cheese container.

I went this morning for the first time and the service and food were amazing! Try the BB’s bagels for sure! Thank you for having what we used to call “customer service.” Other businesses need to take notes from you. Loved all the small details from the chocolate covered coffee bean on top of my cup of coffee to the cute sticker on the bag. I will definitely be back!

This is my first time going here I pulled up to order my food and drink. Since I’m new to going here, I asked questions about the drinks ordered my drink and then I asked her what flavors bagel she had she listed them all out and then she said oh yeah, we have cheddar too and I said OK. I will take the cheddar one with jalapeño cream cheese. I said thank you and then I pulled forward. It was my turn to pay at the window the sweet lady at the window confirmed my order but she said sesame bagel and I said no I didn’t order sesame bagel it was supposed to be cheddar. She then turned around and said where is the option for the cheddar one and then the lady in the back I guess who took my order, said she didn’t order cheddar she ordered sesame.. which I know I didn’t. I don’t even like sesame. There was an older lady who was making drinks at the time said “ I guess just switch it back to cheddar wow what a waste” right in front of me I felt so uncomfortable. I definitely will not be going back there. Please do better. That was the absolute rudest thing you could ever say including the rudest look on her face in front of a paying customer.

We love Human Bean. Sophie was a great help. Very bubbly personality and great smile. The white chocolate granita with a couple pumps of macadamia nut syrup is our favorite. Also get the chocolate covered espresso beans!!! They are a must have!!!

My new favorite coffee shop! The food and drink were delicious. I ordered the Pumpkin Java Chip, and it was fantastic. I also ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese bagle, which was a little messy but very yummy. The service was great, and the employees were super friendly. 10/10 recommend.

Hot salted Caramel Mocha! Pumpkin and Bacon,Cheddar Cheese who could resist.. The Dawsonville location is always good. The girls always have a positive and upbeat attitude. Love starting a day with positive energy!! Oh and delicious Hot Coffee
