My Wife and I had brunch at The Hudson Cafe. We used the online site to reserve a table about half an hour prior to arriving, and we were glad we did because of how busy they were and how many other people were waiting in line.
Service was attentive and friendly, helpful with our questions about the menu.
The aesthetic of the restaurant is really cozy modern, though the overall atmosphere feels very busy because of the noise. It would be nice if it were a little quieter, maybe from sound dampening panels or softer music (instead of generic pop).
The food was excellent! I greatly enjoyed my omelet and gluten free pancakes. My wife enjoyed her fruit waffle. We both loved the breakfast potatoes.
Overall, I would go here for brunch again and would recommend it. While the atmosphere isn’t *perfect*, the food was really good and the interior is nice. A fun place for a Saturday brunch!

Never been here before. Stopped in for a quick breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Was seated politely and quickly. Waitress Stephanie was very nice and food came out very quickly. Atmosphere was nice. Food was delicious!

I was very excited to try this place because I have always heard great things about it. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the staff, who were very kind and friendly. I was surprised that it was not too busy, since the staff were explaining that it would usually be packed on a Friday morning. Anyway, the cafe itself was spacious with a beautiful atmosphere. The place was spotless and smelled wonderful. Our waitress was the most polite and friendly person ever. I wish I remembered her name, but she was so sweet with short blonde hair. She made us feel very welcome and excited to be at this cafe. Moving forward, we ordered the red velvet waffles with berries, the quesadilla, a side of sweet potatoes, and a side of waffle fries. The food was actually so delicious. It was my first time trying red velvet waffles, and let me tell you that I am so obsessed with them. They were perfectly made with the right amount of toppings. I was very pleased. The sweet potatoes were also delightful. I was very, very impressed with the food and experience. My boyfriend was pleased as well, since he enjoyed his meal and was happy. I very much recommend this cafe and will be returning again. 10/10 experience.

Its a small space but nice. I came here for brunch with my cousin and friend to celebrate my birthday weekend. The food was delicious and definitely would order from here again. Side note, one of the hostesses didn’t have the most pleasant attitude but other than that the lady who served us was very nice. I recommend the chicken and waffles which I ordered to go.

As a restaurant this place is great but their catering could use some work. Let me preface this by saying everyone I came in contact with was very nice. But as far as service and quality I was a bit disappointed. A few things: When first inquiring about the catering I was told that there is the same service fee whether I pick up the food or if they deliver. That was strange to me. Once I was told that, I asked in 3 different emails for an invoice, and didn’t receive it until the day before our event. Lastly, the food we received was not the same food served in the restaurant. The pancakes were the precooked frozen kind, very similar to Eggos. The hash browns were also precooked in triangles like what you would get at a fast food restaurant and many were overcooked. I’ve dined at Hudson Cafe several times and chose them to cater due to my positive experiences with their food, but I was disappointed with what they provided us for catering. The quality is not the same and I don’t recommend.

I’ve enjoyed breakfast here many times, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and flavorful — the omelettes and pancakes are especially delicious. The staff is warm, friendly, and great at helping you choose the right portion or dish based on what you’re craving. Parking is also convenient with 90 minutes available in the nearby structure. Overall, consistently a great experience!

Brunch at Hudson Cafe was awesome. The staff was amazing — super friendly, attentive, and you can tell they really care about the experience. Service was quick, everyone was welcoming, and the whole place had a great energy.
The food was really good too. Everything came out fresh, hot, and exactly what you want from a solid brunch spot. Great flavors and big portions.
Overall just a really great brunch experience. Good food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

I have visited the Hudson Café’s downtown location, but this was my first time at the Troy location. The roasted beet salad was very filling and full of flavor, and the side of pita bread was fluffy and so good! I thought the portions were very reasonable for the pricing. My friend ordered the eggs Benedict and said it was delicious! Our server, Heather, was attentive and accommodating, and was very knowledgeable about gluten-free options for my friend, which was so reassuring. The menu has such great variety and I want to try so many things, including the gluten-free berry French toast next time! The atmosphere is quaint and beautifully decorated, and the restaurant was very clean!
