Not the best but also not the worse. The bar counter is made of steel which means when the pizza is placed on top it cools down quick. The sauce is watery could use some seasonings or herbs. I ordered an “16” inch cheese pizza extra cheese, extra sauce. The pizza was bland but the dough was amazing. The drink I ordered was “cherry Haze” not the best drink but doable. The bartender was nice and very accommodating. Nice set up, scene was nice , I didn’t like the smell of dish water.

Went here a couple of weeks ago. We arrived at 9:00pm aware that they closed at 10:00pm. The girl behind the bar, Ray didn’t acknowledge us and walked past us when we asked if she can wipe down the dirty table. She made us feel like we were putting her out! She gave us one menu and didn’t ask if we wanted a drunk. Then when we wanted to place an order for food, she said the kitchen was closed. It was 9:10 and she said it was 9:30. We didn’t feel welcomed at all! My girlfriend and I decided to go next door where we were greeted and felt welcomed! Too bad, we won’t go back and I do not recommend going here after 9:00pm. No wonder this place was empty!

The Hub is a great overall place. 2 for 2 on visits to the Hub. The 2nd time was for my daughter’s birthday, 11 people total in the party. After a little mix up with the reservation, Rami our server was awesome. The Pizza is really good and the wings are outstanding. The Nutella pizza was the perfect ending to the experience. We will be back.

The best pizza and super cool bar on Main Street Ansonia. Definitely would eat the smoked potato and bacon again and again! If you love Colony Grill’s hot oil, the Hub’s close to home without having to travel!

Normally pretty good pizza. Wings also. Ordered takeout drove down there 7 miles to pick it up. Got home, wings were horribly burnt. Not cooked a little too long, horribly burnt. To the point where you have to question who would even put them in the container and bag them for pick up. When I call down to complain, asked to speak to a manager, they said the manager went home for the day. The manager went home for the day at 5:30 PM on Friday? It was pretty clear there’s no manager there. No quality control. Very disappointed. Will not be going back.

Absolutely love The Hub, it’s been such a great addition to the area! Cozy vibe and the pizza wings and drinks are excellent everytime. We’ve had the same server several times and she’s super lovely !

First time trying the Hub and the pizza was decent. I appreciate a thin crust but the edges were so beyond burnt I couldn’t stomach them. The hot oil specialty was good but I feel like without adding bacon it would’ve lacked texture. I can’t complain about the oil since again I ordered the hot oil pie and added bacon, but… it was pretty soggy in the middle. We got take out and the parking is ludacris, so either get there early or prepare to walk if you’re dining in. Would I eat there again, yea. Is it my first choice for pizza in the area, not really.
