I do enjoy eating great food while watching aircraft take off and land. You really can’t be any closer to the planes without taking off in one, and several of the diners did just that after eating. Most of these places serve up just burgers and pizza. My smash burger was spot on, but my wife had a great salad and we shared some killer Brussels Sprouts. Add some great wether and we had a great dining experience.

Airstrip bar seats… Our kids love this place and I do too! Great for afternoon/weekend pit stops after the Narrows Park Beach. Beer, pizza, wings, etc with dog friendly heated patio, games, and kids menu too. Watching Cessnas and jets take-off keeps everyone entertained.

Delicious pizza! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips as well. Highly recommend the fried calamari and their cocktails are delicious. The bar was adorable and the view was perfect

I struggled with deciding to post a review, but it was such a disappointment and definitely not worth the money we spent.
We arrived and the friendly hostess told us to choose our table. Score! That sounded nice! We picked a spot looking out at the airfield. Lovely location. But from there, it all went downhill.
1. I sat down and immediately realized I had placed my hand in a glob of leftover sauce from the previous person.
2. We couldn’t see anyone to grab the attention of, so my husband went up to the bartender and asked for a sanitation towel. She was kind enough to wipe the table.
3. We ordered a pizza and it came out so skimpy with their toppings, that fully half of the pizza was bare crust. It was flavorless and not worth 30 dollars.
4. The chicken wings we ordered with Memphis BBQ tasted like warm ketchup ( again….not worth the money).
5. We also ordered 2 drinks, which were nice, but mine had almost flat Brut champagne in it.
I will never blame the waitress as she seemed busy and it’s a hard job.
However, for a dropping $ 100 with tip, we left hungry and unsatisfied.

The food was outstanding! We got oysters, calamari, a smash burger, tots, and pizzas. It was all amazing. The burger was the best burger I have had in a very long time. I added mushrooms, onions, and cheese sauce! It wasn’t busy and the staff were all so nice and quick. I 100% recommend the hub!

Being at an airport, the Hub was a fun experience. As busy as it was, I thought the food must be pretty damn good.
We ordered the fish and chips, brussel sprouts, and the smashed burger. The fish and chips were good, the brussel sprouts were very good, but the burger was nothing to write home about. The bun to burger ratio was way off (see attached photo), and if I hadn’t ordered it with bacon, it would have lacked flavor, too.
It wasn’t a “bad” burger by any means, but for $18, it was disappointing. As were the cajun tots that came with it.
I fully understand that this was my take on the Hubs burger and suggest you try it out for yourself.
That said, we do look forward to a return visit to try the pizza, wings, and chili.

The Hub has been a family favorite of ours for years — it’s one of those iconic Gig Harbor spots that never gets old. The food is consistently delicious (you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu), the staff always make you feel welcome, and the views of the runway add something special every time. My son loves watching the planes take off while we eat, and it’s become one of our go-to places for family dinners and casual nights out with friends.

If you’re visiting Gig Harbor or looking for a great local hangout with amazing food, friendly service, and a true community vibe — The Hub is the place.

I met with family when visiting Gig Harbor. I had the roasted beet salad and it was very tasty, as well as filling. It’s fun being at the airport with a view of various planes.

I hope to try pizza next time I’m in town.

Came here on a Monday right when they open. Great place to get a “hundred dollar burger”, good drinks, and views of the airplanes on the tarmac. The food and portions were excellent and our server was so attentive and kind. Great way to start the week off before running errands.

When weather is nice, sit outdoors and watch planes and helicopter take off, land or just doing some low approaches.
Always friendly and nice atmosphere with beautiful sunsets right next to the control tower.
