“Escaping the whirlwind of exploring the local area, we stumbled upon a true gem of a restaurant during our visit with my niece and her family. Stepping inside, we were immediately enveloped in an inviting atmosphere that made us feel truly relaxed. The decor was particularly interesting, with one wall showcasing a fascinating collection of presidential portraits, while the opposite walls were adorned with historical memorabilia, creating a unique and engaging backdrop to our meal. The gentle hum of conversation created a comfortable and welcoming soundscape. My half-pound burger arrived cooked to absolute perfection, and it was so incredibly juicy that I found myself reaching for several napkins! The delicious patty was nestled within a soft brioche bun and topped with perfectly melted American cheese, along with crisp lettuce and ripe tomatoes. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavor. Our waitress was an absolute delight; she was not only very friendly with a warm smile but also incredibly attentive, ensuring our drinks were always filled and checking in on us without being intrusive. Her excellent service truly enhanced our dining experience and added to the welcoming atmosphere created by the entire staff. This delightful meal provided a much-needed respite from our busy afternoon, and after we left the restaurant, we went back to their place and relaxed by the pool for the rest of the afternoon – a perfect end to a perfect day. Without a doubt, this restaurant will be a priority on our next trip, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal and exceptional service.

The food was great, fried catfish and fried Okra! The service was excellent and the price was fair. A large portion was served and quickly brought to our table. I really like the patriotic and family atmosphere! I highly recommend The Hub and Iwill visit again.

Went here for breakfast, and out of 5 people, only the kid enjoyed her breakfast. A Chocolate Chip Pancake. 3 of us got Breakfast Skillets. The server mixed them all up, and my Mom’s was so dry she had to send it back. Mine was dry as well, but I pushed through it. It seemed like they didn’t have enough help, so maybe that aided in the poor food quality. My wife got a breakfast with Grits and said they were horrible.

Two of us for lunch. We ordered grilled catfish and hamburger steak. I wanted to try their Chili so I ordered it as one of my sides. My friend opted for salad bar as his sides. Server told me that the Chili would take a little while so she gave me a small salad bowl. The catfish and hamburger steak were very good but the salad bar was the star of the show. Fresh and cold with a plethora of choices. Really enjoyed the bleu cheese dressing and Bleu cheese crumbles. Don’t miss the SALAD BAR! Thanks HUB!

It’s a good restaurant at a semi-fair cost.
The food was good with a few exceptions.
Portions were very good.
The waitress was attentive.
Clean establishment including restroom.
Mash Potatoes were FAKE, which is strange considering the lime beans seemed to be well prepared and generously seasoned with bacon and probably fresh or frozen.
Fred Green Tomatoes on the other hand were not very good, probably pre-made frozen. The tomatoes not the batter did not taste well. Add to that the portion price was about $1 a slice… a real rip-off, even though they were homemade, which they were not.
Meal options averages are a meat option with 2 sides with cost EXCLUDING DRINKS from about $13 to $19.
Build your own Burger looks good at about $9
Baskets average around $10 to $12.
Platters $10 to $16
Kids Meals *12and under, a ~$5 but Drink would make this closer to $8…
Coke and Tea is $2.75
Pork Chops were exceptional. Chicken Fried Steak was fair but not up to Cracker Barrel.
The sides we chose were Lima Beans (great) and a baked potato (also good and large-sized).
Desert was an exceptional Cheese Cake!

Hostess and server were very nice. Great atmosphere, comfortable booths.
The food was mediocre. I ordered the meatloaf, which was the special for the day. Two very thin small slivers of meatloaf, a scoop of mashed potatoes with brown gravy and a ladle of green beans. The potatoes and the green beans were piping hot, but the Meatloaf was lukewarm, kind of dry and basically just salty. Out of the whole meal I enjoyed the mashed potatoes most.
Expensive for what was offered. $18.18 with a drink before gratuity.
I was looking for a different spot to eat out here in Crestview for lunch during the week when my favorite restaurant that’s closed Mondays. Probably not it. In hindsight, I should have tried the bbq. It may have been a better experience.

Everyone liked their meals and enjoyed the restaurant. The fried porkchops were amazing, catfish fillets were good, the shrimp platter was good, and of course, my hamburger was very good! I heard comments about how good their tea was, and we liked the wall murals.
If ya haven’t tried it, I’d recommend a stop for sure.

We got the white fish, Philly cheese steak, and fried cheese curds. The curds were amazing and were a meal for 2 almost on their own. Not super stoked about the other 2 things the fish wasn’t cooked all the way through, and the Philly was over cooked lol. Top notch service though! Our waitress got us refills before we were done with drinks, got our orders without making us wait, and brought our food out super quick. In and out in about 30min. She got a nice tip for being on top of everything and for being so sweet. I’d go back for the cheese curds and service alone. In all was about $30ish, so not super expensive. I’d give less stars for the main food, but everything else upped the star rating.

Took over an hour to get food and there was only 2 sets of people already eating when we arrived. My omlet was sweet like they put sugar in it! Dads breakfast skillet was cold (not even warm) and had to be returned. Link sausage was cold and undercooked. My daughters Patty sausage had hair in it. They did apply a credit for all of the above but I didn’t go to get a credit I went to get a half way decent breakfast that they couldn’t provide. Normally I’m not one to give reviews but I just want people to be fair warned so they don’t waste there time or money! DO BETTER HUB!! I was a repeat customer but this is the 2nd time in a row I’ve been extremely let down by this place and it’s very unlikely I’ll be wasting money here again. It’s sad because I’ve been a longtime supporter of this place and hub city bbq when it was around. It has gone downhill tremendously.
