We spent a gorgeous afternoon at The Hub 121 in Allen and it could not have been more perfect. The weather was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxed and fun, and it was such a great place to enjoy quality time with family outdoors.

There are so many food options to choose from — pizza, tacos, sushi, hot dogs, ice cream, shakes, drinks and more — so everyone in the family found something they loved. The setup is ideal with lots of picnic tables, open-air seating, and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the sunshine.

What really makes it special is the kid-friendly environment. There’s room for kids to play while the adults relax, enjoy a drink, and actually have a conversation. It’s the kind of place where you can linger for hours without feeling rushed.

Whether you’re meeting friends, bringing the family, or just looking for a great outdoor spot to unwind, The Hub 121 is a gem. We’ll definitely be back — this is one of our new favorite places in Allen!

The Hub in Allen is hands-down one of my favorite “third places” — you go home, to work, and then to The Hub. It’s such an amazing spot for families, friends, or even solo time. During the summer, we’ve gone to book readings, splash days, and events with characters like the Easter Bunny, Mickey Mouse, and tons more! They even have a petting zoo, arts and crafts, and so many fun activities for kids (and grown-ups who still love a good photo op).

When no one can decide what to eat, The Hub saves the day — BBQ, tacos, Italian, and more all in one place. Plus, there’s a giant screen to watch the game, $1 mimosas, and plenty of space to relax, meet people, or even get a little work done on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Whether you’re there for family fun, date night, or a casual hangout — The Hub in Allen truly has it all. A total gem for the community!

We went for the Gluten free market. The atmosphere is great and there are so many gluten free options. I do not think they were prepared for the turn out though.

We came for the Sausage Stampede and stayed for the great food and Weenie Races. We had a great time and met some super cool dogs, and their owners weren’t half bed

What a true gem to have in our neighborhood! Allen is such a wonderful community, and The Hub has created a space where everyone can come together and connect. As a coach, it’s not always easy to find a place where both kids and parents can genuinely relax and enjoy themselves—but The Hub has made that possible.

From the open lawn space to the inviting indoor areas, it’s a fantastic place to gather. There are plenty of food options that appeal to both adults and kids, which makes it easy for families to spend time together. We especially love the variety of community activities they host—from bounce houses to small business markets and so much more. The staff here is always friendly and willing to lend a helping hand!

We are so fortunate to have a place like this in our town!

Nice vibe, good drinks, and nice staff. Food lacks variety for non-meat eaters. The app is not working, and I couldn’t even order using it. I couldn’t find good nachos… There is one restaurant serving chicken, but others all seem to only serve red meat dishes. Overall, it’s good, but they need to work on their technology so that people can order easily from the app, and they should also improve their food variety.

Solid concept, small location, and no crowds! Went for lunch on the 9 for $9 deal. Food received was excellent. Smoked wings were incredibly tasty, slightly spicy, and so juicy. Chips were over seasoned which was nice at first but quickly got too salty to enjoy. Great portion for lunch!

Downside was there was hardly anyone working. Person who took orders at Crave had to also come take orders at Local Smoke, she was so sweet, apologetic for the wait, and gave excellent service but one person can’t manage 2 separate “restaurant” faces. Not to mention I also saw her cleaning when I was leaving. She shouldn’t be doing the work of 3 people, that’s just crazy to me. I will say there was NO ONE there when I left lunch so I get the need to have minimal employees but left a bad impression on the service that’s provided as a whole by The Hub.

Also the big screen outside needs to be playing a sporting event or something besides the silent funny short video clips. Inside was playing anything worth watching but I wanted to sit outside and enjoy to space and the big screen was disappointing.

I’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of that Tuesday lunch special menu.

From my first time being here, the atmosphere, the variety of food, entertainment, and the overall experience was amazing! I thought it was due to it being my 1st time, but I’ve came back and was received with the same level of professionalism, courtesy, and kindness. Major shout out to Jen, Colin, and Kaleigh are all amazing. I’m sure it’s due to the management and leadership of JEN. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Drove 1.5 hours to gluten free event here and was expecting a Celiac friendly place. Most places have 0 clue what cross contamination is and dont care. Multiple say its baked or cooked with gluten products but “didnt do that today so its safe.”

This event is for those chosing to eat gluten free not those of us that must. Seriously disappointed in the false advertising.
