I just moved back to Michigan from Texas and was looking for a good breakfast spot. This place was recommended by my parents and it didn’t disappoint. I usually have the Hillbilly Eggs Benedict and it is fantastic if you want a large, filling pile of goodness. The wait staff is incredibly friendly and sociable, service is quick, and food is good. I’ll be making this a regular breakfast spot for sure.

It is fantastic here! First time in. Tried the hillbilly eggs Benedict and it was great! We had a blonde woman as our server and she was amazing! My bf had the breakfast club, and i had a bite and wish I had gotten that! (Not that my choice wasn’t great, his was just better than great!) Sad to hear the business is gonna be getting sold.

A must eatery. Portions won’t leave you wanting. Prices are more than reasonable. Great value. Barb has been in the restaurant business for years. Now she has her own place and is doing it right. Order bacon and see how much you get. Won’t disappoint. Can’t go wrong with the spaghetti! Love it.

LOVE this place! Nothing else in Howell compares to the quality of food and affordable prices. The kids love the fun shaped pancakes- and speciality flavors (the pumpkin flavor is to die for!) We’ve never had something we didn’t like here. So happy we have found our go to breakfast spot.

Great food! And the quantity and quality for the price. Service has seriously gone out the window since my last review. The waitress carla doesn’t even know what she’s serving her customers resulting in constant order inaccuracies. To the point of the wrong order going to another table. Kat is just as bad completely ignoring her customers expecting the rest of the staff to pick up her slack. Maybe the owner should reevaluate her hiring process.

The entire staff at The Howell Diner is wonderfully friendly, and gives excellent customer service. The FOOD IS DELICIOUS!! I tell everyone I know, if you haven’t stopped in, that you must go grab a bite at The Howell Diner. The owner, Barb is the most loving, caring and hard working woman.
