Our restaurant is located in the Lanes of Brighton. Our signature dish is Beef Wellington using prime fillet steak encased in puff pastry with mushroom duxelles and parma ham. The Blue Cheese rib-eye steak and the Ocean fillet steak are front runners too. All our steak dishes are of particular note but the varied a la carte really does have something for everyone. There is always a Fish of the Day and The House Bouillabaisse is bursting with tasty seafood. We’re centrally located in Brighton close to the seafront, Pavilion, Theatre Royal and The Dome. Our steakhouse was established in 2002; is independently owned and family run. It’s a well-oiled, well-loved and well-run community restaurant. A little place with a huge reputation.

We had an amazing Valentine’s Day meal at The House. It was busy but the service was prompt and friendly still.
We were so impressed by the food! The prawn cocktail had a very generous serving of prawns.
The star of the show was the beef wellington. It was absolutely amazing and could rival one that I had at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen last year.
I’d definitely recommend here for dinner to anyone visiting Brighton. I only wish I lived closer so I could visit this restaurant all the time.

Fantastic Valentines evening. The wait for food was quite long as they were very busy but food was definitely worth the wait. Desserts were on the house because of the wait which was appreciated but not needed. The owner and staff were very nice. Overall Great Value and beautiful food.

From dealing with Nicola to book a large table for a special occasion, to the night itself everything was great! Nicola was really responsive and helped negotiate all questions and changes. The team on the night were so attentive, they knew exactly what we had all ordered and the service was super smooth. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were just right. Sat outside in one of the last sunny days. The squid starter & bread was excellent. The Bouillabaisse didn’t really have enough depth of flavour but the seafood was well cooked. The chicken mustard main was very tasty. Wine reasonably priced… all in all very enjoyable
