This bar is a small gem nestled just behind the gas station. From the outside you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into but once you walk inside you are pleasantly surprised to see a lively atmosphere with a variety of entertainment. There is a dining area separated from the bar area with plenty of TVs and a couple pool tables. The staff are awesome and even though they get busy they still take pretty good care of you. Drinks receive a healthy pour and the menu variety is what you’d expect from a bar however the flavor is better than most. We came in to watch the nuggets and had an amazing time, definitely recommend.

I must say I really enjoy this place every time I attend! The service is exceptional from all of the workers however, Grace seems to go above and beyond, even when she is busy, to make sure that me or my entire group has full drinks, full water and that the golden tee machine is working properly!
The food has had his ups and downs over time, but lately it is back to the standard and quality that we came to expect back when we first started attending this fine establishment.
We love this place during Broncos season as we can buy squares, and the servers are always gracious when we ask to do so.
My new favorite things are the breakfast burrito or the cheesesteak with pimento cheese, ,which I have to have at least a couple times a month.

I went to The Hound last Thursday and I have to say I love the atmosphere, oh the dogs❤️. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich which was delicious! My person was Shannon, she was the best, funny, friendly and efficient.. it’s hard to find that these days Thank you Shannon for a great experience! I’ll be back

The service we got was not bad. It just seemed like a weird choice for the kickball organization to pick a place that we overwhelmed so easily. Food was all right, but unseasoned. We’ll be back, hoping that they can ease the burden on staff and maybe have another person or two in the evenings to help the two people there. Relaxed place to play some pool after with a friend who was teaching me.

Came in on a lunch break bartender was super helpful very kind being my first time here I was unsure of what to get. She recommended the western barbecue burger and just looking at it. Makes my mouth water definitely coming back. Whoever is on aux is doing a great job the ambience is amazing music choices on point.

I assume/hope the food is better when served in house. I got a to go order because I wanted a good not fast food burger but also wanted to stay in, and their menu sounded pretty good. Not to be mean but I wish I would have just gone to McDonald’s instead. After tip I paid a little over $19 for this burger and fries. It was very dry and flavorless. I didn’t know it also didn’t come with cheese which was pretty disappointing, I would have definitely ordered some if I had known. The online option also insinuated that it would be coming with a salad as well. It asked what dressing I would like for my salad, I selected blue cheese, and they gave me blue cheese dressing but no salad. The fries were also very over cooked and dry, almost no salt on it too. Overall not a great meal and for the price I can’t say I will be coming back.

This was our first time in The Hound and I wish we would’ve visited sooner. We live right next door don’t know why it took us so long. I had the fish and chips (French fries) with coleslaw. Very good I was impressed by the crunchiness of the batter on the fish. A+ we also ordered the Reuben Rolls that came with a southwestern style dipping along with horseradish infused sour cream. These were very good as well. A+ My partner got the cheesesteak with a side of Colorado pork green chili. He liked his meal and this is coming from a 90% vegan! We splurged today clearly lol The bartender was awesome – didn’t catch his name but he was very friendly and welcoming. I love the atmosphere reminds me of an old style dark pub on the inside.
The only sad thing about all of this is we will be moving to North Carolina at the end of this month and we won’t be able to go to this wonderful restaurant any longer.
Everything was good and anytime we visit Denver in the future we will be sure to return here. 100% A+

Deplorable DeadHead
We ordered the buffalo chicken salad the cheeseburger and the fish and chips. The coleslaw and tater tots were also very good. I’ll return to this bar. I’ve been coming to this location since it was the Toby jug and the City Grill.
