The bacon flight and bread pudding is a MUST! We also ordered the Bison Burger and the Huevos Houndcheros and both were excellent! The servers were all so sweet and kind! They definitely made me feel very special on my birthday. Next time I am in town, this is the first place on my list!

So much food! We went there for Sunday brunch, arriving around 10:15am on a football weekend. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes for an outside table for four people. Weather and atmosphere were really nice and the food was very tasty with huge portions.

We’re new to town and wanted to give this place a try because of the good reviews we have read online. Our server had a great personality, incredibly friendly. The atmosphere was lively, the host team friendly, and the tables themselves were unique and interesting. The server assistants were prompt and food came out in a timely manner. However, the food and drinks were mostly disappointing as was our servers menu knowledge. On your website, there was a Sunday Smoked Prime Rib listed- we came in just for this item. When asking the server, he had no knowledge of it. The online menu was also different from the menu in store. I was incredibly disappointed but wanted to give the restaurant chance so I asked my server to convince me to stay- He had no response and told us his “mind went completely blank”. We still stayed. I wanted a martini with blue cheese olives, the server was unsure if you had them as an option. You did not so I ordered a side of blue cheese and stuffed my own olives at the table. The Hound Old Fashioned was good, it would have been nice to see a large cube in it for an establishment such as this. The table next to us got a bourbon flight and the bourbon labels were written in sharpie on thermal printer paper. We got the bacon sampler appetizer as recommended by our server. Two of the three tasted good but there were parts burnt almost black. The chipotle bacon was so incredibly over seasoned- salty and almost inedible. I asked for a steak medium rare but it came out almost blue- tried to get a managers attention (lady with long hair and tattoos) but she was too busy eating at the server POS station, in full view of the dining room, and did not notice me. The second time I tried to get her attention she came over and assisted me, thankfully my steak was better cooked the second time around. Loved the horseradish sauce. My partners bison burger was fantastic and I was grateful we ordered it. I’d come back just for the bison burger but would unlikely recommend the restaurant to others.

Brunch was amazing! The food and atmosphere at The Hound are unmatched. We got the Big Nasty (on a bun instead of biscuit), the Hound Breaky, and the Bacon Flight. If you get the chance, sit outside! There’s always a nice breeze and the music is top tier

We had a group of 6 for the Chubby Belly takeover. We had a blast. The food was amazing. The only criticism would be that the items weren’t very hot when they arrived at the table. The spare ribs were tender and flavorful. The tomakatsu sandwich was perfect. The bulgogi tots were an amazing fusion. I loved this concept and hope to see this again or move Chubby Belly to its own restaurant!

It was our family’s first time in Auburn. We brought the kids (4yo & 10mo) to the Hound on the recommendation of some locals. It did not disappoint. It was rush / move-in weekend. The place was slammed. Luckily, we had a reservation so we were good to go. The beers were good, selection was decent. Whiskey is what they’re know for, but I had 2 boys under 5 with me, so I wasn’t sipping the brown…the wife and I shared a bottle of Bordeaux red with dinner. The price point was great. It was on the light and young side, but all of our dishes had a slight spiciness to them, so that actually worked to our benefit! The food:
We had to get the bacon flight as an appetizer. It was fantastic. If your family likes bacon, order it. It was gone so fast I couldn’t get a photo! Both boys devoured it.
My 4yo had the wings. They had a sweet and spicy glaze that we all loved. For a smoked wing, they were actually pretty crispy. I loved the cook on them.
My wife had the meatloaf. We all loved it. The bacon and chorizo added to the grind really made it shine. The mashed potatoes and collards were great accompaniments.
I had the bacon fried rice bowl with blackened chicken. There was a soft egg right in the very middle. I immediately broke the yoke and mixed all the sauces and eggy goodness together. That was the move. My wife raved about it and I scraped the bowl clean!
With a bottle of wine, appetizer, and 3 meals we walked out of there for under $130 after tax and tip.

Brunch was amazing! You can pick from a bunch of different juices for your mimosas! The Bacon Flight was to DIE FOR! The pancakes came with fruit as an option, you don’t have to get them this way, same for the French Toast! The hashbrown casserole has conecuh sausage in it, delectable! Our bartender Hensley(Henny) was amazing! Had a great experience all around!

Great restaurant, nice and open with large outside area. We had the tacos and ceviche. They were both good but I didn’t leave wanting more. Drinks were good, best part you can bring your dog.
