I would give 5 stars all around if I could. Only 4 for atmosphere because it’s a small parking lot and no outdoor seating. I went for lunch today with my daughter. I wanted to try it after all the horrible things I saw on Facebook. They’ve revamped and cleaned up extremely well. The woman today was super sweet and helpful. The food was superb. Top notch. If you’re hesitant to try this home town place again, do it. You won’t regret it!

This is a GREAT place to eat, or get take out. We had the shrimp and fish Po Boys. I was wondering why they came with knife and fork. Then I realized the sandwich wouldn’t fit in my mouth ! The portions are huge, but more importantly, it is cooked correctly and has a great flavor.

First time trying this place. I was not disappointed! My daughter had a chicken wrap with fries. I say “fries”, but they were basically potatoes that were cut lengthwise with sea salt, and they were awesome. I tried their cheeseburger philly, and let me say, I don’t know how I ate it. Yes, it was a large portion, but also I think I had to unhinge my jaw like a snake just to bite this sandwich! If you order a sandwich, go ahead and plan on eating some of it with a fork. I also had the fried green tomatoes, which were also impressive! Cozy outdoor dining, and a menu that will make you want to come back, time after time, so you can try something else!

I’m so glad I turned around. We passed right by it at first. Just passing I said jokingly, ” LOOK! It’s the Hot Box.” We went around the square to come back. It was SOOO worth it.
Tim’s shrimp were light and crispy on the outside yet juicy inside – deep fried fresh and to perfection. The fried fresh cut potatoes wedges were crispy on the outside, hotand creamy on the inside – delicious. Potato salad was creamy and coleslaw was crispy. My burger – oh – my burger was yummy. It was cooked medium well -what I asked for- and it was very juicy still, onions lightly grilled , cheese, crispy lettuce, tasty tomato slice. Mmmmmm – the burger was exceptional.
I’m glad I turned around. It was well worth the $30. Yum !!!

Located in the Downtown area of Washington Georgia, its well worth your time. Everything we had was exceptional. After our meal, i asked if they could recommend a dessert place. They have their own Baker! We split a chocolate mousse cake and a vanilla cake. Beautifully decorated, and tasted even better!

Great place for a quick lunch. Nothing fancy, just tasty food, cooked and served up by the owner. Had lunch on a Wednesday, so it wasn’t busy. Small outdoor deck dining was casual and relaxing. Chili is not mentioned on the menu but I thought it was great. Good beef flavor not overwhelmed by heat. Chicken salad wrap was tasty and more than enough for lunch.
