Superb hospitality and the food is delicious! Come in for a Milk shake, they are fantastic and tasty treat. Ask for Captain Jeff, he is very friendly and an excellent host. Doing everything right here, focusing on doing well and a great place for burgers and fries.

I was disappointed in every aspect of this establishment. The restrooms were atrocious, the service was sub par, the burger was mediocre. They were out of several items. The food was overpriced for the quality.

We stopped by on the way to a Whale watching tour and glad we did. The new owner was there and super friendly. He’s a great guy and runs an amazing little spot. His coffee shakes are on point, The burgers are huge, fresh and amazing. Definitely stop by and support this local shop!

I love Hot Bite! Every year at the end of school, me and my family go to Hot Bite as a tradition and there is a reason for this. Their food is superb, as is the service and atmosphere. The food doubtlessly leaves me filled, with a milkshake topping off a meal of a (large) burger and french fries perfectly. There is plenty of seating both inside and out, so that no matter the day one may go there to enjoy. The employees have always been helpful and seek to satisfy their customers.

Visiting Juneau for the first time and had a great experience here. I had the Seattle Dog and my girlfriend had the classic cheeseburger, both were delicious. The owner Jeff provided us with a very friendly conversation through our lunch and overall the experience here was great. Even planning on coming back before my trip ends in a few days. Thank you for the pleasant vibes and great food!

Pretty happy with the new hot bite. New managment has it being run well. It’s has a quaint atmosphere, with lovely harbor centered paintings on the walls. I’m in love with how clean it looks. The customer service is excellent, good communication, friendly workers who are efficient and get the food out in good time.
The food is a bit pricey, but pretty on par with everywhere else in town. Only one or two places I can think of that’d be a few bucks cheaper. The quality of the ingredients is noticeably better and I feel that has an impact on the price.
Overall, I’m relieved a beloved Juneau gem seems to finally be under healthy management.

The milkshakes live up to their reputation. They are so good we stayed an extra day at the marina to go back for more. My husband and I tried the burgers and they were truly the best we’ve ever eaten. So large I could only eat half (just as good two days later as leftovers). Wish we could have stayed a third day to go back again and buy extra. We’re from WA, but are already planning to come back next year. Can’t wait.

After ordering and paying for food, was told they were out of bacon. They forgot to make one of the burgers. While everyone else in the party was eating, had to wait on my order. Fries were mushy and greasy and no salt/seasoning. Burger and milk shakes were good though.

No milkshakes anymore! On a sunny Sat the cook / owner? seemed shocked and upset that people kept coming in asking for shakes. No shakes here! He said seeming upset that we would ask. He told the last ones who asked, if anyone asked again they were done for the night. Wow. Does he not know that Hot Bite was THE place for shakes? Idk, not anymore, I guess. The burgers were pretty good. The fries Amazing!! Get the fries! Small menu options. View the usual spectacular! Just don’t ask for milkshakes, whatever you do!!!
