Great food with a reasonable price tag. The staffs are so friendly – it felt like a very tight community.
My highlight was the soup with chunky beef. It was so hearty I’m gutted that I didn’t get a bowl of it. I’m still thinking about it two days after I had it.

Worth the drive, about and hour and a half from my place in marana az and well worth a Sunday drive just for breakfast. My daughter and myself enjoyed every minute and every single bite. Price was affordable service was great and food was absolutely delicious.

I have been driving though benson a few times a month on my way to Douglas. I stopped in a few weeks ago on a friday night to try the fish fry. The fish was decent. My waitress was a younger girl. She was nice enough, however she kept disappearing. The food wasn’t as hot when we got it because it sat in the window. We didn’t get a refill on our drinks. We weren’t super impressed but decided to give it one more try this last friday. Our server Ruby was awesome. She was funny and on it with the refills and great customer service. We’re going to ask to sit her in section everytime. She’s a great waitress. Definitely excited to see her again as she had us cracking up the whole time. If you get a chance to go, definitely ask for Ruby.

Took a drive out to Benson from Tucson and stopped by—so glad we did. We all really enjoyed the food; the quantity, quality, and overall taste were top-notch. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had our 1-year-old with us, and they were incredibly kind to him, making him smile the whole time. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back and adding this place to our regular list of restaurants to visit.

I’m 77. I have been going to Benson, Az and the horseshoe Cafe since I was 6. It has changed hands many times but the Cafe and the food has always been a great place to eat. My brothers and I frequently drive up from Tucson just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The food has always been above board and I have never had a bad experience. The waitresses and waiters are always ready to serve you as if you were in their kitchens at home. Atmosphere is low key, mostly quiet. I like to sit at the counter seats whenever I eat there. Tables are for 3 or more.
Food is ALWAYS fresh, hot, and served with friendly attitudes.
I always tip 20 %. These people work tirelessly and it shows on their faces and in their report with all the patrons. I’ve dined at other places in Benson, but none can beat the Horseshoe !
I sincerely hope the Horseshoe Cafe remains the same in the future the same as it was and continues to be today. Prices are comparative to anywhere where good food is served.
Treat yourself anytime you are out and about.

This cafe is a perfect country dinner. The ambience is very South Western. Very delicious food and big servings. Servers were very attentive and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The waffles are huge! My biscuit was huge too and made fresh. They gave me some apple butter to spread on my biscuit. It was sooo delicious! Definitely check this cafe out when you pass through Benson, Az. You will not regret it.

I went there last week and ordered my usual cheese burger and soup. Absolutely delicious and they keep surprising me with a new soup almost every time I go. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Giselle was my server that day but Kori and Nevaeh were also there to help. I’ve been many times and will go many times more. Great food and great peeps
