Found ourselves in downtown Eugene Oregon on a Saturday for lunch and didn’t know where to go. Turned around and saw the Horsehead Bar. Checked it out and glad we did. Such a great space and Shawna was amazing. The food was great and the portions are huge. Bring your appetite!

Everything. Beginning with a fantastic bouncer who invited us in… we got to look around was amazed at how spacious the sitting areas were, lots of billiard tables waiting to go, a group of locals having a great time bantering back-and-forth with each other, easy-going group of folks outside in the patio area as well. There was a nice bamboo barrier for some privacy. Will come back.

Despite being served the most horrendous Guinness in the world, this joint is fantastic. I didnt eat here but the deocr, the relaxed atmosphere, and the prices were fantastic. I wanted a dive and I got one, but it also had local artists paintings on the way (for sale) and super friendly punk rock vibe.

So I’d say being in here kinda reminds me of where the old poets and Knights would collaborate with the treasure hunters and the ones who fly with dragons… the smoking outside is one of the best in town… For the bamboo dances and wind that can freely flow in the air just creates a really good chatting space… Inside you’ll will find beautiful stain glass, pool tables.. and excellent service… They even have some really good mac & cheese on the menu. It’s pretty cool…

Outside in the patio is the best place to be!! The parking on the street is typically tough, but they do have a parking lot. Don’t forget to pay for the parking in advance so u Don’t get a fine!!

I have never been to Eugene. In my entire life before Friday they didn’t even bother to check my id or confirm my identity. And. Threatened to harm me , while this was happening My friends asked all the bartenders if they knew who I was and not a single one of them said they did. This was probably. Clear they favor certain people over others at this establishment. Never have felt so unwelcomed at a bar, each person including the workers had hostile attitudes.
