The atmosphere was really nice, and everyone, from the staff to the other diners, was super friendly. The establishment was clean and had plenty of space. Our waiter was great,he was quick and always checked in on us to make sure everything was okay. I decided to try the fried shrimp and clam strips. The clam strips weren’t really my favorite; they were a bit greasy and had too much seasoning for my taste. The shrimp was decent, but were over seasoned. On a positive note, the baked potato was really good! The oysters, though, were fantastic,fresh and juicy. The crab legs were seasoned perfectly and easy to crack open. ( I would go back again) !

Our first experience was amazing. Johnathan our waiter was super helpful and friendly! He recommended the freshest raw oysters and they were super delicious. My husband and I with got the catfish and clam strips we were blown away at the portion size we could have just ordered one but there were plenty of leftovers which we devoured later and through the next day. I recommended this restaurant with 10÷ stars. Thank you for an awesome experience

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. We asked for high chair for my infant son, no one ever brought us one. Finally my husband went exploring and found one himself. The service was slow. The food was absolutely horrible and definitely not worth the $60 we paid for it. I would have loved to have spoken with the manager about our awful experience, but there wasn’t one to be found. When we checked out the girl ringing up didn’t even bother to ask if everything was okay. Guess she already knew the food and service were so terrible it wasn’t even worth asking about. Even my infant son who is usually a garbage disposal wouldn’t eat the nasty food. We will not be back.

My husband and I went there and so happy we did. Our waitress Jackie was fantastic and friendly. Didn’t have to ask for anything. Best experience that I have had in customer service in years. The food was delicious and timely. Will definitely come back. Thanks Jackie.

Ordered Parmesan Oysters they were ok. Then I ordered a jumbo shrimp and clam plate. The clams were cold and greasy on arrival and the shrimp was all breading. The potato had been in the oven far too long. Best thing was the hush puppies. My server Kayla tried to bring me a box twice but not once ask why I didn’t eat my food. I hadn’t been here in a long time. Now I remember why.

Ok I will start by saying that our server Avery was outstanding she was very attentive to our table never had to wait on refills on beverages and the food was great. This was the first time eating here and was very impressed with the way we were served. It is rare to find the service that we received from most restaurants lately and it was greatly appreciated. The food was amazing. The Alaskan Snow Crab Legs were cooked perfectly. We were all very impressed with our food and service tonight.

The hook this place is iconic!! The food is amazing and well portioned! Came to visit family from Florida and I have tried many “high end seafood places” and the Hook is a special place. Warm staff, great food! Def one of the best South Carolina has to offer.

Went for lunch with my beautiful Princess and her adorable mom. I had the shrimp and grits. They both had the popcorn shrimp. Smaller chain seafood restaurants normally have larger portions than big franchised seafood places.

Bad doesn’t even begin to describe our experience. Fish filets were basically skin and bones. Zero meat. The cheeseburger was bland bland bland bland. We order the 8oz Filet Mignon and served a flavorless sirloin. Avoid the onions rings at all costs. They were not edible. French fries tasted old and nothing was fresh. Shrimp tacos..shrimp was not cooked. Not Cooked! Service was horrible. Getting water, an extra plate or just placing our order was hard from start to finish. Place was empty at 5. Won’t ever go back. Wait wait…oysters is the only reason that got 1 star. Not bad for this area. But I’ll know if they were safe to consume in a few hours.

Food was ok . I ordered the broiled seafood platter. Now mind you when I see platter I think a good amount of food not fries or hush puppies. I got one piece of fish 3 scallops and 3 shrimp not worth the 27 bucks
