Bought online and picked up the family meal on the Monday before T-day. Easy parking, no line. Walked right in, picked up my goods, and walked right out to my car. Soooo smooth. Learned my lesson last year. Plus, got a discount for picking up my order early.

The ham and sides were awesome! Next… Christmas dinner….

Pre-ordered a Thanksgiving meal and when we went to pick-up our meal the day we said we would, they only had one piece of the meal still available. You would think when preordering something and picking it up the day you said you would it would be there. So BEWARE, A PRE ORDER DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU ORDERED. What’s worse is when asking why they had given away our items they told us that at least still had Ham…. We didn’t order ham…. It wasn’t even part of my question! We ordered from the chula vista store in the past and was very happy. The lack of care and dismissive attitude was the worst part. I don’t think I would trust them with your order, especially when grocery stores can do the same thing, and have a much larger operation to help you from.

THEY GIVE OUT FROZEN TURKEYS THE NIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING BECAUSE THEY ARE A STUPID BUSINESS !!!!!!
Ordered catering, in the food description it says “pick up, warm up and ready to eat”.
When we picked up our meat, IT WAS ALL COMPLETELY FROZEN. Change the description to, “pick up, LEAVE IT OUT ALL DAY AND NIGHT FOR IT TO THAW”.
I am so extremely upset. The meat is cooked!! They are freezing meat after cooking, and I had come to pick it up the SAME DAY.
These people are stupid and do not care about their customers. We spent over $100 to have to stay up all night to cook it again.

NOT WORTH IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEST KEPT SECRET….Excellent handmade Salads & Sandwiches! Not only do they prepare a killer ham but they also have sandwiches every day! The sandwiches are priced right and are made to perfection! Definitely give them a try…

I pre-ordered stuffing and gravy for a friendsgiving celebration. When u took it home to warm up, the sting was like soup, and the prepackaged gravy box was soggy. When I opened the gravy box the film had pulled away from the tray, and hals the gravy had spilled out. I poured the stuffing into a casserole dish and baked it for an hour trying to reduce the liquid. When all was said and done, I just threw it all away because it looked and tasted awful! Never again! 25 dollars in the garbage.

I’ve been going to this particular location for years! George, the manager, is incredible! However, for the first time in 3 years, I went on 8/13/21… and the two young ladies working didn’t greet me, nor did they seem to thrilled that I came. They were unprofessional and it showed in the food I received. I will STILL support this location, I was just surprised at the lackluster customer service from these two young ladies! I ordered baked beans… and got baked bean soup!!! Not good!

I went to Jack in the box for a quick snack…the line was really long so I parked and went into HBHC. As I walked in, one other customer also entered. We were the only two customers. There were two employees, one obviously newer than the other. Both were very nice and polite. Great job on customer service.
I only wanted a small snack but it seemed my only option was to order 3 sliders, which I did (ham and swiss cheese).
It took a little over 10 minutes for my sliders to be ready. I thanked them and went to my car to eat. Had I not been out of time and very, very hungry, I probably would have returned them. As I opened the paper that they were wrapped in, I immediately noticed that they were sopping “wet” in what appeared to be a butter garlic sauce. I mean , not just some on the bread, it was totally sopped. I tried to take a bite and juice ran downy hand and arm. Against all manners that I was taught, I shoved the rest of the slider into my mouth to stop it from leaking all over me. I could barely see the ham and cheese and sure couldn’t taste them. I ended up giving the other two sliders away and dispute several hand washings, for the rest of the afternoon I reeked of garlic and was still hungry.
I paid over $11 for the three sliders, only ate one. No chips, no drink.
I personally will not go back to try again.
Wish I had taken a picture but really didn’t want my phone greasy and smelling like garlic too.

Full disclosure: I used to work at a Honeybaked Hams location in another part of the country in my younger years.

The ham I purchased and received for Christmas day was unsatisfactory. This is a direct reflection of the quality control and management of the kitchen. It should have never been sold in this condition. Having worked for the company in the past I know the location in LA Mesa where this ham was prepared and sold is accountable and not a direct reflection of the company as a whole. I will not be purchasing anything from the La Mesa branch of Honeybaked Hams in the future.

The staff was friendly but the food was less than desirable. I pre- ordered a 1/4lb ham and 6 sides. My total was around $113. When I went to pick up the food, I paid $140. When I asked why, the cashier said that my ham was a little larger. I didn’t want to argue and hold up the line. I showed him my bill and they still charged me the higher amount. Then, when I got home I had to warm up all the food as it was ice cold. The outside of the ham was black and the candy coating was crystallized and hard. When I warmed the ham, the coating didn’t melt. Basically I paid $80 for smoked ham. The stuffing was runny. The gravy never thinned out no matter how warm I made it. I will not be returning. I paid $140 for bad food.
