Stopped here for lunch after a doctor’s appointment on the South shore. It was busy as it was a week before Christmas. But we didn’t wait long and we got sandwiches, chips and drinks. Delicious and we only ate half. Took the rest home. Fabulous lunch place.

Manager tries to gaslight. I went there to get a sandwich which I go every Tuesday and I asked for honey on top. It’s never that serious but they made it a serious matter. Kept discussing it and whispering about it afterwards for minutes. Someone had done it previously for me once but if they couldn’t that was fine as well. I even asked to get a honey packed instead to make it difficult. The manager and the older lady (cashier) just makes you feel like a fool. You don’t know what others are going through and you make them feel unwanted in a place instead of saying “oh you must’ve came off social media with that”.. be kind, you never know what someone is going through. It’s sad because I like going there but the customer service is not it at all.

Pressure you to tip just for picking up an order. Spent literally hundreds of dollars and was happy to give them business I could have got at 1000 other places and they feel it’s my duty to subsidize their wages for doing the basics of the job. If you order pizzas to pickup to you tip when picking up your own pizza??? Of course not.

DONT FORGET YOUR COUPONS!! Every year they have extra coupons on the counter for people to use. So this year on the way to have skin cancer removed we forgot the coupon but knew that they always had coupons on the counter to use. We get there and there’s no coupons! Coupons that were being left, were picked up by a “manager” that told us you have to have the coupon. The very nice cashier acted as if she was going to help us because we told her the situation and the “manager” walks by and says ‘no no’ they need the coupon. And the coupon could only be used today and we live in Kenner. So all the years that they had extra coupons now they’re getting you because you don’t have your coupon. Bad for business! And a merry Christmas to you!

Their hams are always delicious. I have ordered “sides” before and some are better than others…. This year I picked up a nine pound ham and it was almost $90 with tax! I find that crazy expensive, but we did have a $50 gift card from someone and that helped with the price…
