We preordered a ham a few weeks before Thanksgiving and paid for it. When my husband went to pick it up he was told we would be getting a partial refund. When he inquired as to why…the manger said we had to give you a smaller one because we needed the one for you for someone else who reserved one. Are you kidding me!!! We paid for it weeks ago. What kind of crappy service is this? A refund. Who is feeding the other people at my Thanksgiving tomorrow since you decided upon yourself without consulting me to change my order?? You had the correct size and refused to give it to us!

My company places 2 large orders every year for the holidays and we just switched to this location due to issues with the previous location. Sometimes dealing with us can be a pain, but Nick and Hailey were wonderful! They were very helpful throughout the entire process and everything was correct and on time! They are both responsive and Nick has gone the extra mile for us and we are so appreciative. They made this year effortless and smooth. We will be sticking with this location moving forward b/c of Nick and Hailey. Thank you both so very much!!

I have to admit when I entered my expectations were low, I was just looking for a “deli” sandwich and a quick place to eat. What I found is only something I will definitely return for. Last Friday I was looking for a sandwich shop for lunch in Dawsonville and started the Yelp app with a search for deli and sandwich. Under the “sandwich” search I came across Honey Baked Ham. I had seen it before when driving up GA 400 but never really paid much attention.
What a pleasant surprise! When I walked in, two staff members were working, one lady who was taking orders and making recommendations and a gentleman who was asking questions about how customer preferred their order.
I took my time perusing the over counter wall-mounted menu board and finally decided on the Tavern Club. I was asked if I wanted any sides and how I preferred my bacon cooked.
The sandwich was just amazing, a full half pound of meat; ham, smoked turkey breast, bacon ( I ordered my crispy), cheddar cheese, tomato, mayo, and honey mustard served on whole grain bread. My sandwich was brought to my table. Your drinks are served at a self-service drink station and are available with free refills.
The service could not have been more friendly and helpful during my visit. This is definitely my new go-to place when I am looking for a sandwich in Dawsonville.

Unfortunately the owners don’t care about service. It’s the holiday season. Staff the store accordingly. Poor girl in there doing her best. It’s the time of year for you to make money. Come on.

Overall an average lunch but it’s way overpriced in my opinion. $18.16 for the ham sandwich with potato salad and a drink. I get the potato salad is an upgraded side, but it’s literally one scoop of potato salad. Go across the street to Ingles and spend 4 bucks on a huge potato salad that is better than this anyways (not to say honey baked ham co has bad potato salad, but it’s not worth 4 bucks plus the 4 to make it a combo). Ham definitely was from yesterday as it wasn’t fresh as could be (tough). I’ll still love their full hams but I won’t be coming by for lunch again, not for that price. I’ll go sit down at miller’s for less than that.

I received a Honey Baked ham from this location and followed exact warming instructions on the package. I actually get/ serve one every year for many years and have always enjoyed them and never had any issues. Well Christmas dinner was absolutely ruined by this ham. It was total mush! No structure to the meat all the way through! I was mortified and had no way to replace it at 5:00 pm Christmas evening!
Worst was when I called the store today, 12/27/2024 I was met by a manager who basically tried to blame me for warming it up!( exactly as the package label recommended! And as I have yet after year!) I was rudely told there’s nothing they will do to rectify this issue. Merry Christmas and hung up on. Zero stars was not an option.

Ordered 2 sandwiches. Service was good and friendly. The bread used is what makes or breaks a sandwich, in this case the bread was not good at all. I suppose they have changed bread vendors because this was nothing like I remember them being like.

Wow, is all I can really say. I called to see if there were any hams available and the lady on the phone was rude as could be! I was put on hold 20 seconds into the call, about 5 seconds after she answered the phone, and when I asked the simple question of “what all do you have available” after she asked me how many I was trying to feed, she said to me ” I’m not trying to be rude but figure out what you want, I have phones ringing off the hook over here!” Well, you failed miserably at not being rude. The whole call lasted a minute and thirty seconds and a minute of that I was on hold, so who wasted more time? Merry Christmas lady, I hope your day gets better. I’ll take my money somewhere else from here on. Unbelievable!

Best sandwiches in the county and super affordable! The staff was quick, attentive and friendly. I will be back for sure!! Try the Tavern Club on a croissant. The special HoneyBaked Ham sauce is what makes the sandwich so delicious! They also sell sliced ham by the pound to take home and make your own sandwiches with!

The employees are always very nice and the food is always good. I wish there was more outside seating, I know it’s just a sidewalk area but 2 or 3 tables with a couple of chairs would be nice. The current table outside is terrible for holding drinks, it needs a solid top. Those are petty complaints though.
