On December 10, 2025, my husband and I were thrilled to purchase the Honey Baked Ham Take and Bake Sliders along with a pound of spiral sliced ham. We were eager to enjoy a warm, delicious meal together. However, our excitement quickly turned to disappointment when we discovered that the ham was soured. We found both the sliders and the sliced ham had an unpleasant taste, indicative of spoiled meat. This was unexpected, especially since the items were stored in an open cooler near the checkout, where we assumed they would be fresh.
The next day, we returned to the store to address this issue. Sadly, the experience turned frustrating when we encountered resistance from the staff regarding a refund. The cashier seemed uncertain about whether she could actually give us our money back. We clearly explained that the items were spoiled, asking her to taste them if she didn’t believe us. We even placed the sliders back in their packaging, still showing the evidence of our taste test. It felt disheartening to be dismissed when we were simply looking for a fair solution.
When the cashier went to the back and started making new sliders, it added to our frustration. My husband politely reminded her that we didn’t want the food, we wanted a refund for the spoiled items. Her response, claiming she was only following her “boss”, made it clear that our concerns weren’t being taken seriously. We believe that proper customer service should prioritize the satisfaction of customers and ensure they receive quality products. Our experience served as a reminder of how important it is for stores to stand by the quality of their food. She finally issued a cash refund although the purchase was with a credit card. That was ONLY after my husband said if you don’t issue a refund, I’m going to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
I do not recommend doing business with this location. NEVER again. I do not believe the open cooler is at the correct temperature for food as there is no thermometer to verify for food safety.

I was so disappointed with this honey baked ham. I literally go to honey baked ham all the time and happened to be in Greenwood for an event. My “the honey baked” sandwich wasn’t made how it’s made at every single other restaurant I’ve been to (it was cold) also the drink fountain was out so we had to get canned drinks and they were warm. (Cold sandwich warm drinks smh) I couldn’t even finish my sandwich it was so nasty. And for $30 I highly discourage getting your lunch here. Instead go to Chick-fil-A across the parking lot and spend the same amount for better quality and consistency

If you need to order for Holidays you should do it 3 months ahead of time, although they won’t allow that. When 2 years I have tried to order Holiday Hams and was told orders would start at a later date, I asked the specific date and called on that date only to find they are sold out. This happened to me 4 times to me at the Greenwood SC location.

Filed a complaint about expired food and hair in my food with a regional manager over a month ago. Was promised a call within 24-48 hours. Never heard a word. So we don’t use you for any of our catering needs. So for the $25 I lost was a lesson learned to spend my money elsewhere!

Recently I was walking by the store and a gentleman was trying to sell me hams. I told him “no”, and he got very pushy and aggressive with me when I tried walk away to finish my shopping at the mall. While walking away I heard a very rude, harsh comment from him. I did not appreciate the way that this gentleman was towards me or the way he talked to me. That is no way to run a store, and I have no intentions on going back or being near this location in the future.
