Atmosphere – 4 stars- small cafe style, very clean.
Service- 4 stars- counter service but staff was very friendly and talkative. Seemed to enjoy her job which is refreshing nowadays to see.
Food- 4 stars- offers of fresh ham and Turkey sandwiches, soups, sides such as chips, pasta or potato salad. They have cookies too. I had the classic turkey (smoked) with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo and a hickory honey mustard that was awesome all on a fresh bakers roll. We also got the Honeybaked which was honey baked ham, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, crispy onions, pickles, honey mustard as well as a sweet honey glaze served warm on a ciabatta bun. Both were excellent. They also offer ham or turkey sliced as well as heat and serve side dishes such as mac and cheese, loaded smash potatoes, baked beans, green bean casserole to name a few. These would be perfect for a family dinner or a large feast such as Thanksgiving. Highly recommend trying this out for something different than your typical fast food joint.

Visited Monday for quick lunch… SHOCKED, is the word I would use for my lunch. The bread was so stale it crumbled in my hands the first bite. I actually ate half my Tavern sandwich with no bread as it all disintegrated in my plate, threw the other half in trash. Paying $14 for sandwich and small Coke, UNBELIEVABLE!! WON’T BE BACK!!!! Worst sandwich EVER!

We have eaten The Honey Baked Ham Company many times this past summer and many times every year. I was shocked when my wife and I ordered two box lunches and was charged just short of 32 dollars. It used to be fairly reasonable and we were not told that they raised their prices so high. No wonder why they are not crowded anymore. We loved the food but I am not going back at 16 dollars for chicken salad sandwich (which is the cheapest to make) a small bag of chips, a cookie and a drink. Unbelievable.

ABSOLUTE BEST PLACE FOR LUNCH! Everything is fresh from the meats and cheeses to their pasta and macaroni sides. I try to eat here at least once a week. Another good deal is after 3 they have 2 box lunches for $12.99. Which includes sandwich two sides a drink and a fresh pickle. I cannot recommend this place enough! My favorite hands down!

Ordered ham, au gratin potatoes, and baked beans for Christmas Eve. Ordered for 4 servings. Very disappointed in the quality of the food this time, and the packaging. When I opened the beans, the plastic covering was not sealed and liquid had leaked all over the box. I cooked everything exactly per the instructions included. The beans were not the baked beans we expected. They were a mix of beans and they were hard and tasted like dirt.We thru out the entire container. The potatoes were assorted sizes and the large pieces were not cooked thoroughly. There were really only enough for 2 people. The only good thing was the ham. I would buy ham again, but not the sides. For the price we paid for a holiday dinner we were very disappointed.

My favorite is the ham classic box lunch. The ham, croissant, and special sauce make it irresistible. Every time I visit the area this restaurant is located near mealtime, I choose to eat here. Sometimes I get an extra lunch to go for another day.
The staff is always friendly and the place is clean and in great condition. Expect a short wait if you’re there during regular lunch hours as it is popular.

7/25/18 Update to current employees and services what is it to cut a slice of bread in half? Is it to much work or not Enough money? I mean a meal with a whole sandwich is to much and I use to enjoy coming here. The guy at the counter with shaggy hair didn’t look at me at me Judy said “we don’t make 1/2 sandwiches anymore” I just walked out. His hair should have been pulled back and cleaned up. Guess Arby’s will do today.

One gentleman working in there…i dont remember his name (my fault. Im bad with those) very polite. Attentive to my order and made the most pleasant remarks to each item I chose while making good conversation to each of my spacey remarks. I upgraded my chicken salad and tavern to a box cuz i was gonna get honey baked myself and each item was delicious down to the pasta salads and the cookie. Would rate higher of i could.
