We all know the ham is good. Just be prepared to wait an hour for it, even if you prepay ahead of time, and choose a time slot. The problem is this stores awful, absolutely inefficient system for pick up. We prepaid, our time slot for pickup was between 11:30-12:00. When we arrived at 11:35, the line for pickup was wrapped around the entire building. It moved at an utterly GLACIAL pace. We waited for an hour and a half. In the sun, with children, with elderly seniors who were struggling to stand in line that long. Awful system. Most people ALREADY PREPAID. How do they have a system so inefficient that even when people prepay online, and you offer certain time slots…. That you still must stand outside in the sun for an hour and a half. Then, when we finally got to the front of the line, they said they were out of the ham (12lb) that I already PAID FOR and SECURED. I had to get a smaller ham. This make me completely reconsider buying honey baked ham next year for Thanksgiving. Nobody has an hour and a half to stand around the day before Thanksgiving. Or ATLEAST warn and notify people that the “thirty” minute time slow they chose will most likely take 3 times the amount of time.

First time getting a bad ham in decades. I have been getting ham from Honey Baked Ham at a different locations for decades. I always got great products so never crossed my mind to check the ham before purchasing. This was the first time I got a burnt, dry, bland ham. The store was disorganzied. There was one cashier for walk in and one for pre ordered on Tuesday before Thansgiving.

I do not understand why in 2025 they didn’t have one line for walk-ins and another line for pre-purchased. It took me over an hour to pick up my pre-purchased items. They operate for peak holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter) they should be prepared for these surges

Had a wonderful experience at the Fairfax location. Shout out to Christina who is so pleasant and happy. We have been to the store several times and she is always so kind, efficient and joyful in her work. Even when things are very busy, she never gets rattled and is always happy and upbeat. The Honey Baked Ham Store is very lucky to have Christina!

When I went to pick up my order, the store had many customers waiting for their food pickups. Fortunately, I had scheduled a pickup time in advance, so the process was quick and satisfying. Of course, the honey-baked ham was excellent—it’s the best!

June 2022, was able to get in and get out immediately as I hoped. Came inside the store, someone came out to the front to the back, told her I need 3 pounds of sliced roasted turkey and she looked in their refrigerator and pulled out a container of 3 pounds sliced roasted turkey. Paid and I was able to leave. In and out less than 5 minutes.
1 or 2 years prior, Called prior to arrival, asked about picking up some turkey breast, arrived, parked in parking lot, went in, 2 lines, 1 line for walk-ins and 1 line for prepaid orders, prepaid line was longer. I think we were able to leave less than 10 minutes after going inside.

It was super busy, but that’s expected for Thanksgiving. The staff was helpful, and I was able to get what I needed. I’d recommend ordering ahead!

Although they are very pricey, their product is exceptional. We really only pay that price once a year, at Christmas, but the ham is so consistently fantastic that we return year after year. They also are very efficient with plenty of staff on hand at the holidays. The store in Fairfax does great!
