This was my first visit to a Honey Baked Ham store. I expected to receive directions (written on the foil) or instructions on how to reheat the ham. However the ham was very moist after researching baking requirements. Further, the side dishes should have been kept frozen until ready to prepare. I had placed them in the refrigerator 2 days prior to Thanksgiving and the broccoli became mushy, not tasty. I was disappointed in the taste of the loaded mashed potatoes, but it could have been the result of being in the refrigerator; I had tasted better from ACME Signature brand that is microwaveable. Further, when I placed the order, I wanted 6 biscuits and the first clerk I spoke with said he would throw them in for free. When I received a call to confirm my order days later, the biscuits were not mentioned so I did not check to see if they were given… they were not. While at the store, I was surprised to witnessed the other products available. I think Googled location info should specify that other products are made available in the store but limited in supply? I had assumed everything had to be ordered online. I called to place the order as I had difficulty using the site. I did purchase a chicken pot pie when I picked up my order as a customer at the counter was raving about it. I have yet to make this meal, hoping it’s as good as it was stated. The store was clean and the staff friendly. I would purchase again but I am now better aware.

Me and my wife absolutely love this place. It makes our holiday so much easier the hams are always fresh and delicious. Only have to make the side dishes spend more time with our guests would definitely recommend.

Used a gift without a problem. The sandwich was fresh, warm and tasty. The ham was very good. But most of all the staff was exceptional. Very kind and professional with a friendly atmosphere.

Honey Baked Ham was a lifesaver for Thanksgiving! I picked up turkey, gravy, green bean casserole, and bacon cheddar mashed potatoes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The turkey was juicy, the gravy was flavorful, the casserole had the perfect crunch, and the mashed potatoes were cheesy and amazing. The store was clean, organized, and the staff was super friendly. It was such an easy and positive shopping experience. I’ll definitely be back for future holidays!

Be Careful What you Write on the Customer Survey ….. if it is not to the owner’s liking, you be refused service on your next visit. I was asked to fill out a Customer Survey based on my visit, and subsequently filled out the survey on-line. When I made a return visit (Middletown Honey Baked Ham at 770 Rt. 25 S.) the owner refused to serve me and asked for me to leave the store because I was no longer welcomed. Really?? Yes, based on my comments to the online survey, that I was asked to fill out by the way, the new owner from Connecticut refused to serve me and stated I can no longer come into the store. I simply filled out the survey as I was asked to do because they are new to the area. My store ratings varied and my comment on the sales person rating stated something to effect, “it is disgusting to have a person with an unkept nose ring take your order and then serve you lunch … ugh!” Well, these comments did not sit well with the new owner. I found out the salesperson with the unkept nose ring that served be lunch on my last visit, happened to be her daughter. And because of my comment, the owner refused to take my order and asked me to leave; no longer welcomed in the store … but, stating if I promise to never give a poor rating in the future, because it’s bad for business, I was welcome to stay. Are you kidding me? Is this how it is done in Connecticut. They ask you to fill out a survey and if you provide a good rating, that’s o.k. but a rating not to their liking they will refuse to serve you and ask you to leave. Not sure if that is even legal. BTW, prior to this new owner, I had given high reviews in the past. But, an unkept nose ring during lunch is still an ugh with zero stars assigned to the salesperson!!

Most aren’t aware that in addition to their amazing hams/turkeys/side dishes/desserts that they make really great sandwiches. I’m hoping the corporation figures out an advertising strategy to bring more people in so they will be open on Sunday’s as well.

We’ve been going here for decades and the food never disappoints. It’s a family owned business and the quality of their food surpasses other places selling similar food (their ham salad is amazing, and we’ve always ordered our holiday hams and smoked turkey through them. Occasionally, we order a half ham for weekend dinners but you can also purchase them by the slice).

Honey baked Ham in Middletown for a start has a beautiful indoor dining area, as well as the great customer service that made me feel at home. My ham was delicious and even gave the roasted Turkey breast a try and was amazing. The help at the front desk was superb, i was Helped by a young man named Jake.

My sister was unable to do thanksgiving dinner this year after 48 years.. I stepped up!! I never made a turkey in my life!! I immediately thought of honey baked ham as I know for a fact their ham is the best!!!!! I called and ordered a cooked 13lb smoked turkey, a cooked 13lb oven roasted turkey and a baked ham!!!!! All was easy to heat up as they told me exactly what to do!! It was a hit!!! Everyone ate more turkey then ever and my sister said it was better than hers! She’s going to follow my idea next year!!THANK YOU HONEY BAKED HAM, THANK YOU KEITH AND CARMINE!!!! Best thanksgiving ever!
