The Homemade Factory Sushi and Ramen in Middletown is a place where expectations really matter. This is northeast ramen and it shows. They advertise handmade noodles but honestly you cannot tell when eating them and they do not stand out in texture or flavor.
I tried the beef ramen and it was just ok. The broth was fine but nothing memorable and definitely not something I would crave later. The biggest disappointment was the hand rolls. Avoid them. They were rolled more like tiny taquitos and unbelievably small. I have never seen hand rolls shaped or sized like that and they missed the mark completely.
On the positive side the staff were super nice and welcoming which I always appreciate. Parking was also easy which made getting in and out painless.
Overall this just was not for me. Between the average ramen and the strange hand rolls I would not come back. Friendly service and easy parking were not enough to make up for the food experience.

I am absolutely in love with this place. The food is amazing the service is top tier. I have not one bad thing to say about it here. It’s very clean from the atmosphere to the food. If you’re debating if you should come here or not definitely come.

Really fresh fish. They give a very large portion for the price. I ordered the sashimi set and it came with both soup and salad plus a good bowl of rice. In my area, you usually pick either a salad or soup which both were also very large; almost double the portion that is normal at other places. The sashimi was also generous for the price. If I lived in the area, I’d likely be a regular. The staff were also attractive and kind. The photo was at an angle but the sashimi plate was definitely substantial.

Food was super fresh and flavorful and atmosphere was calm, clean, and beautifully decorated. Our server Jennifer went above and beyond to make our experience top notch, and everything was perfect. Will absolutely be coming back asap!

Food was so tasty!! Finally a good sushi place in the Newport area. Only the second day they were open, but I was surprised on how great the food and service was. It’s like they already hit their stride. Everything was awesome. The mushroom soup was fantastic, but the happy girl roll was my favorite. I can’t wait to go back and try the ramen.

Really enjoyed my visit here! The calamari was super crispy and flavorful, and the portion size was way bigger than I expected — definitely a great start to the meal. The takoyaki were huge and tasted amazing, soft on the inside with a nice savory bite on the outside. I also tried the salmon sashimi, and it was really fresh and smooth — you could tell it was high quality.
We had both the chashu and chicken ramen, and honestly, they were both great in their own ways. The noodles had a perfect chewy texture, and the broths were rich and tasty without being too salty. The chashu was especially good tender with slightly crispy edges and a ton of flavor. The chicken ramen broth was really clean and fresh-tasting, super comforting.
The vibe of the restaurant was also really nice — cozy, relaxed, and just a good place to enjoy some solid Japanese food. Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone who loves ramen and good Japanese eats!

The good: The ladies all seemed really nice and the place was beautiful. We got the Hamachi and Tuna Nagiri and those were both fresh and amazing. Would return for the sushi!
The bad:
Rest of Food was just ok. My husband got the beef ramen and didn’t finish it or take his leftovers. He asked me if I wanted it. He said flavor was interesting. I ordered the Pork ramen which was good however it was served lukewarm. I think they plated mine and waited for my husbands because his was steaming. I also asked for spicy and they forgot. To be fair even when the server brought me the spice mix after I asked again it still wasn’t spicy at all. Then my husband said beer was warm. Finally we ordered the beef teriyaki appetizer but it was so heavy on onion that it was too overpowering.
Go for the sushi and the atmosphere.

Amazing sushi resturant in Middletown. They have many unique rolls. There a basic rolls and sashimi options as well. The restuarant plays great music which contributes to an awesome vibe. They sell drinks and dessert here too. One of the waitresses was a little awkward while serving me. Other than that a good place to go
