Was in Hershey PA for my son’s hockey tournament. Have been watching these videos at home for months on YouTube, so when the drive was only an hour away I had to go.
Glad I did and so thankful homedogs’ videos came up on my youtube feed!!!
Im from Buffalo ny where we char our dogs on the grill, so im not use to the boiled. With that said these all beef dogs were perfect.
My order I believe was:
The hispanic- 5 outta 5!
The home dog- (exactly what im use to and the home made chili sauce is better than my local spots) wish I would of substituted the raw onion for his homemade sweet ones!(I can get raw onion anywhere not his sweet onions!)
The sweet heat- this thing was slaming, his home made onions both sweet and hot are out of this world and taste so fresh! Hot ones def brought the heat but not to crazy.
The dog house- with the dog sauce and sweet onion no hot ones and again it was great!
My son had the chili cheese dog and a smoked sausage with mustard and relish.. he ate every bite of each and I was so disappointed I didn’t get a sausage to go, but we were in a hurry….
May have to make a trip to do some shopping in PA again just to have an excuse to drive 6 hours for some more of these dogs…

Everything you could want from a local hot dog stand. Connor and Juli are the best, their hotdogs and creative topping combos are even better (if that’s possible).
Get there early cause it’s such a hometown fave that they sometimes sell out of ingredients. I recommend the sweet onion/hot onion with mustard

A hot dog is just a hot dog, right? NOPE, the folks at The Homedog, LLC are a step above in every category. Two really nice people that use quality ingredients and sling dogs as fast as they can to keep the line moving. While you are standing in the line cars at the traffic light roll down windows and ask if it is worth the wait. I just say that 40 people are standing in line for a reason! Highly recommend making a trip here.

Absolutely 10 out of 10 I was in Hanover visiting my family from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Best hot dogs I have ever had in customer service absolutely amazing a 10 out of 10. Score is not fair. It’s more of like 100 out of 10. It’s so darn good. Can’t wait to go back and try

I come here quite regularly and I’ve NEVER had a bad experience. To start, I’ve yet to find a better tasting chili. The consistency is on point every time. They use Martins potato rolls which enhances the taste. It’s a Berks all beef hotdog which another great choice. One of the specials, that I will literally rearrange my work calendar to get one, is the Slaw Dog! And Connor and Juli’s customer service is on point. You’re missing out if you haven’t tried them yet!

I started to watch the live feeds and hear the buzz and i finally took a trip up to hanover from Glen Rock to see for myself. The small line was worth the wait and i loved my sausage and hotdog. I let him choose what to put on and he nailed it. I will be back! I would love it if they could add picnic tables to the lot, that would be my only suggestion. Other then that, i will be back ASAP!
