I love holy donut if you’re visiting Maine this is definitely a place you have to go. They have the same classic flavors and then monthly seasonal ones. I love it because it’s a rare sweet treat find that I can have as someone with nut food allergies.

You won’t know u til you try em’! Maine peeled potato donuts and great coffee. The dark roast is particularly flavorful. All made from locally sourced Maine potatoes! The team greets everyone and there’s a lot of positive energy for 8AM on a weekend! Flavors are very unique. Way to go, Holy Donut!!

Really Quaint Homemade Donut shop. Donuts are large and good selection if you arrive early. Some unique flavors: Blueberry-Lemon, Whoopie-pie, Apple-Cinnamon, Apple-Cider glazed, Vanilla. They also have Gluten-free options. A bit pricey (~$4-4.50) ..but this is Maine.. Great service, and they have some unique Merchandise.

Grabbed a few donuts near closing time at this location along our route! The gentleman working the cash register was friendly, helpful, and energetic. We expected the selection to be limited at that time of day, but we loved the Whoopie Pie Donut and the Chocolate Sea Salt. We would love to pop in a little earlier to try even more flavors should we be in the area again!

Love coming here when I’m in the area! We’re never disappointed. Beautiful place, nice atmosphere & service, cute merch, and don’t get me started on the delicious potato donuts! Always mouth-watering and fun flavors. Our personal favorites include the cherry frosted and chocolate sea salt. The cinnamon sugar takes me back to my childhood. Highly recommend!

When visiting friends from out-of-town, they told me of a great donut shop that made them with potato flour. I had to make this a stop on my trip since the very best donut I’ve had in my life was made with potato flour (a little donut shop in Ocean Springs, MS).
The coffee was fantastic, the service was friendly, and everything was clean. I selected a plain vanilla and a second blueberry donut because I love anything blueberry.
The donuts were just not for me. Of course in my head I had already compared it to the donut shop in MS. These donuts were quite the opposite and were very heavy and dense. If you like cakey donuts then you will absolutely love The Holy Donut! The flavors were nice and I can tell they’re made with quality ingredients. Just not for me.

We made a special trip to get the donuts here. It was worth it. Especially since their closing time varies from day to day. They really are unique and hard to describe, but the texture is somewhere between cake and a regular cake donut, and the toppings are delicious. We really liked the chocolate sea salt and the triple berry.ordering online is pretty tricky. You can only order in the morning when the stores are open (website says 6 but for us it went live closer to 6:30) and have to pick up by noon. If you want to just drop in, know that they seem to consistently sell out and close early. I don’t know if the donuts here are life changing, but they’re worth the high price, which is saying a lot.

Ok. So the donuts were “ok”. We have a mom and pop donut shop near us and their products are better than these. They were nothing really special in any way. The hardest thing to swallow here are the prices. We got 5 donuts and 2 very small chai drinks and the total came to $37 and change. I had actually asked for 2 large drinks so idk if they charged us for that (it did say small on the printed label on the cup tho)
But paying $5-6 per donut is completely insane. They are far from gourmet. The person who took our order was friendly but didnt get our drink order right lol.
Total waste of money and will definitely never go there again
