I love a location that maintains local history and delivers good food with good service. The pressed tin roof over the full service bar is cool. Their wood burning pizza oven delivered really good pizza. My pesto sausage, ham, pepperoni, mushroom, avocado pizza was really good and flavorable. (Avocado was added after roasting). I cannot wait to try the Caribbean jerk pizza sauce with peppers. The buffalo burger on my previous visit was equally good.

This place was amazing! The food was incredible and the drinks were even better! I definitely recommend their Short Ribs and a New Old Fashioned. Loved sitting in the bar booths where you could watch everything. The bathrooms are immaculate with high quality finishes. I will definitely be back again!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place.
Stopped in for dinner on a quick work trip pass through and was immediately welcomed by that amazing architecture.
That was followed by prompt and courteous service of the bar tender.
Then started the good selection of draft beers including many locals…always a go-to for me when traveling.
From there the salad was very fresh with an interesting champagne vinaigrette that I hadn’t sampled before.
Top that with a salmon entree that I do believe is the best salmon I’ve ever had!
Crispy skin, miso ginger sauce, and a touch of hollandaise sauce all over a bed of roasted asparagus.
Then to top it all off, a smoked Old Fashioned that is easily in the top 3 ever.
That’s coming from a central Kentucky guy who’s been to almost every distillery you can name and certainly knows his bourbon.
CHECK THIS PLACE OUT ASAP!!!

The food was amazing, and our server was friendly and served well, but she was not overbearing.

Excellent potato chips.
Good fried shrimp.
Acceptable perch.
Small portions.
Disgusting coleslaw.
Abysmal service times.
At first, we waited to be seated for 5 minutes, and left, assuming they were closed. We checked the hours and went back in. We spent the vast majority of our time here with EMPTY glasses and we watched other patrons uncomfortably shift in their seats waiting and waiting… and waiting. In total, for my date and me to wait 38 minutes for our food on a slow Monday afternoon was not to my liking. I am unsatisfied.

The Hollander on Main is absolutely devine! We have been there three different times now and each time our experience is top notch. They have delicious food, amazing cocktails and a beautiful ambiance. They have live acoustic music on the weekends as well.
The food is truly out of this world! I’m ecstatic Lima has another nice restaurant to offer the public for any special occasion. The staff are all extremely kind and professional.
They have the best steak, cooked perfectly and so tender with wonderful flavor. I love old city prime as well, but the steaks at The Hollander beat OCP in my personal opinion. The kung pao brussel sprouts and candied black pepper bacon are ABSOLUTE MUST to try on the appetizer menu.
Thank you Hollander on Main. We will be back! ♥️

Cocktails were delicious, food was amazing and the service was great! We made reservations but it wasn’t overly busy. Also went back for mother’s day brunch and it did not disappoint either. Great atmosphere and vibe. Beautiful outdoor patio area in the back.

Excellent atmosphere. Staff was attentive and took good care of us. Great food. Loved the pizza. Their Lucky Shamrock drink was like a St. Patrick’s themed Tequilla Sunrise… Watch out for it though. Its so good you dont realize how quickly you’re getting there.

The building and atmosphere is amazing but the back patio really steals the spotlight. However, the food wasn’t as good as I’d expect for a place like this. It’s almost as if they can’t decide what they want to be. The ice-cream was just okay though some flavors were gross. I used to live in Columbus and frequented Jeni’s. The Hollander is aiming for those strange gourmet flavors without the heart and expertise. If a place is going to try to be the new Jeni’s Splendid Ice-cream then they need to go all in. You can also find better wood-fired pizzas/food in downtown Wapakoneta at J. Marie’s. Again, they’re just trying to be okay at everything instead of experts on one or two things. Hopefully they iron these issues out because sitting outside on the patio is a real treat.
